@odetteharris
hello i’m still sad that amanda and lexi’s otp came true and courtney and i’s didn’t
I feel like I should give him a chance, because he was never the one the was terrible to me. And Caden should be able to grow up knowing his grandfather. But I feel like I’ll be beside myself the whole time we’re at lunch with him. And I don’t want to be tricked into a situation where I’ll have to reconnect with my mother. I shouldn’t even be talking or thinking about this. It’s our anniversary and I’ve got better things to be doing.
If the pros outweigh the cons, I say you should go for it, love. And he was really good with Caden when we walked in and I don't think he can be that bad if he's willing to play cars with his grandson. Caden seemed to like him so there's that too. How about this, I'll hold your hand the entire time we're at lunch. Like how you did when I was talking to whatsherface at the grocery store! Love, I think if he want to trick you, he'd give you your home phone number and not his own. Besides, I wouldn't let that happen. If we see her, we can book it. Hey, one of the important things about anniversaries is that we're both happy so I'm making sure you're alright before we do anything else. Besides, I've had a wonderful day and I'm still having that wonderful day with you. But you should elaborate on those better things too.
I don’t know what to do about lunch with my dad. I’m not sure I want to see more of him while we’re here. Too much too soon, y’know?
I know what you mean, love but just really think how you feel about it. And then factor in all the good times and the bad times with him. If in the end, you don't want to have lunch with him, then we'll just go out ourselves and have lunch at that restaurant we really liked with Caden. And if you do want to have lunch with him, we can invite your dad along with us. Either way, we're still going to have lunch at that restaurant.
Penny for your thoughts?
C'mon Caden, say "I hate Uncle Jamie"
I’m only comparing you to a child in the sense that you don’t like to eat your veggies. Salads aren’t gross, babe. You just don’t like vegetables. Wow. You love me? I would’ve never guessed. I mean, I thought you marrying me was just kinda me catching you when you were bored enough to do something crazy like that. Funny, because that was the exact opposite of what you were telling me the other night. We don’t even have that many exclusively blue things. Most of his things are multicolored. It is a good thing! He can barely say “momma” right now, I don’t think he’s going to be having full length conversations with us anytime soon. Well, she can give suggestions, but I really don’t want to let your mom decide on the middle name of our child. Unless you only like 8 pounds, you’ll never be eating for two full sized people. I know that! Of course he will. Most 6 year olds love running.
No one likes veggies! Grown ups lie all the time that they like veggies. The only accceptable ones are broccoli and cauliflower. I do love you. A lot, a lot! You shouldn't be surprised at the slightest! That would be a me type of thing to do but when I saw you across the room, I know I wanted to be yours forever regardless of constant denial at that time. Okay, but imagine all the cute things I could buy for her! I kid you not that there are really cute bibs that say "I'm not a queen, I'm the queen" and I feel like that is very necessary for Ana! That is very true so it wouldn't be much trouble. And I'm still very happy about the fact that he can say momma. Are you sure? Maybe it could be a telepathic thing! I know, I know. I'll tell her nothing will be set until my oversized husband has his input. But two people still regardless! Fine, then Caden when he's twenty!
Only because it’s covered in the sauce. You’re like that girl from that children’s book. The one who wouldn’t eat her veggies, but one day she tried to hid them under her spaghetti and then she accidentally ate them. Salads are not gross. I quite like salads. Well, I’m glad you guys aren’t going shopping. We really don’t need anymore baby stuff yet. Especially since we still have a lot of Caden’s baby stuff. It’s a good thing we never got around to donating any of that stuff. I don’t mind that, but only because Caden is too young to be disappointed if he doesn’t end up getting a sister. But I thought we already picked out a name? I do like having dinner with your parents! I just don’t like having the plans sprung on me last second! You don’t need very much extra food to cover the baby too, though. You’re not feeding two people your size, you’re feeding one person your size and then a little peanut sized person. But he can only run for like 2 minutes before he falls down and starts crying, so I don’t think it does.
I can see them! And you really shouldn't be comparing your wife to a child, love. It's not very nice. Salads are very gross. It's a good thing that i quite like you then. Infact, I would say I love you. But love, a few articles of clothing won't hurt anyone! I was just thinking we could just reuse most of his stuff. I don't see a problem of using blue for our baby girl. It's a good thing we're very lazy people. But he might be! He might be like "mommy, daddy, I know what you're going on about and I really want a baby sister. Like mommy said, mommy is the best". Yes, Ana! But we haven't decided a middle name yet so she's going to decide on that bit of it. But that's the fun part of things! But when my tummy gets bigger, I'll be eating for two people! That's because he's still learning. I bet you 5 years from now that our baby boy will love running.
Pasta is only a proper meal if it’s got the veggies and meat in it and if it’s served with a side salad. Is this you telling me that we’ve got dinner with your parents sometime soon, because I’m not sure I like this vague comment that can make it easy for you to tell me the day of and then say “well, I mentioned it the other day” when I try to scold you for not telling me until right before. But all the carbs that are terrible for you. It’d be one thing if we were overly active people, but we’re not and chasing Caden around the living room doesn’t count.
Which you do put into the pasta and I eat all of it! Not the side salad part though. Salads are gross. Not sometime soon but it's the works. I managed to convince my mum from taking me shopping so instead she wants to have dinner with us. But this dinner may end up being her trying to get Caden to say sister and discussing baby names with us. I thought you liked having dinner with my parents! But I need a lot of food now since I'm eating for two! And Caden really likes running, I think it counts.
That’s like once in a blue moon, though. Most of the time I’m making sure you eat a proper meal.
I firmly believe pasta is a proper meal. I mean it's perfect for every occasion! Romantic? Yes. Normal? Of course! Going over to your mother in law's house, you have to be nice to her and her favourite dish is pasta? Definitely. I mean you can put veggies and meat in it and I feel as it is a very good choice.
That would be every meal, though.
No, sometimes you're nice about the veggies.
I always know I’ve made a good meal at dinner when my wife asks for a bowl to be made up to take for lunch tomorrow.
You mean the meals where you make me eat the veggies!
And some other ones that aren’t completely ridiculous. Like when you tried to get out of your turn of making the bed and I didn’t let you get out of it! I am not and you are not! I am a average height and you’re really short. I think you’re just tiny in general. But that’s all because you’re tiny and not because I’m oversized. It certainly would. Well, they got through it, so I’d imagine we would too. But still, let’s hope neither of us ever loses our memory, because that’d be unbearable. Peanut sounds like a good thing to call the baby until we know for sure. Yes you can. You say no to me all the time. Technically, there’d be six green eyes, but three sets. And I’m sure we’ll be able to say no to them as time goes on. She asks for quite a bit, but I don’t count those ones. That was very cute, but still no chocolate. You can have some tomorrow afternoon! I’ll bring you a cookie from work or something.
But I don't like making the bed! And you know I'm not ver efficient in making the bed either. I usually end up crawling in bed. Oversized, oversized, oversized! The average height for men is like 5'8! Well, I hope you like having a tiny wife because you're stuck with her forever. Nuh uh! It's because you're oversized. You're the perfect size for me. But she didn't regain her memories! I don't know what I would do if I forgot all the time we spend together. Yes, let's hope. Always put our seatbelts on and all that good stuff. Then our baby will be known as peanut. I do not! Whenever have I ever said no to you? Stop being a nerd! How did I end up marrying a nerd? I hope so. I almost gave Caden my muffun today when he looked at me with this big green eyes. So mean. Very, very mean. I thought so too! You're the best. You should also stop by tomorrow during the day. They're throwing a little party in celebration of your pretty wife becoming pregnant again. I'm sure they'd be estastic to have the dad there too even for just a bit.
Shhhhhhh, I’m slightly less weak willed. That certainly is a good thing, but hey, I’m not oversized! I’m regular sized and you’re just tiny. I’m glad you want me forever, though. I’d be in quite the situation if you didn’t. I’m sure you do have a feeling, but I don’t want you to be disappointed if it’s not a baby girl. So, just baby for now. No genders. And then between the two kids, you’ll know what it feels like for me to not be able to say no to you! Caden really doesn’t ask for much, though. Just for food, attention and the occasional diaper change. It’s far too late for sweets, babe. You’ll have nightmares.
Only when it comes to ridiculous pleas that even I know it's a longshot. You're oversized! I'm average! And I only look tiny compared to you but it's okay. It's easy to cuddle up to you and I jump on you without worrying you might fall over. That would just cause trouble. What if it was like The Vow? I'd forget who you were! I wouldn't like that at all. Okay, let's call her peanut for now because to be fair, she's probably as small as a peanut right now. But I can't say no to you either! I'll have three cute green eyes that I won't be able to say no to! And whatever his mum wants too! But I kiss you every night. I don't get nightmares and you're the sweetest thing in the entire world.
That’s because I was very, very young and weak willed. I better be. I’m gonna have trouble saying no to you for as long as I’m in love with you, so you’ve got a sucker forever, love. You don’t know that we’re having a baby girl just yet. Don’t get yourself attached to the idea before we know for sure. And she could end up with my eyes, in which case it’d be slightly easier to say no to her. Sure he has, babe. It’s always such a coincidence that Caden always seems to want what you want. What word is that? Both work well enough.
But you're still weak willed when it comes to me. Then it's a good thing I'm in love with you too and I've got a thing for cute, oversized suckers. I also want them forever. But love, I have a feeling our little baby is going to be a girl. I swear it's a baby girl! But then I'd have trouble saying no to her. I already have enough trouble saying no to Caden! Isn't it? Caden also says his mum wants chocolate so it would be great if his dad got some for her. It was block but without the k at the end.
Are you really far enough along to be using your pregnancy to get out of trouble, babe? It does work, but that’s because I’m a sucker, but I’m not sure I’m going to let you use the pregnancy as an excuse quite yet. I think that would’ve just made me think that was Caden asking for a little sister. Until I noticed the doll that said by sister, that is. And I’d probably notice the pregnancy before you could even train him to do that, honestly. I’m aware of this.
No, but it worked while I was pregnant with Caden! You're the cutest sucker ever. And I figured now you'd be able to say no to me. But our baby girl is in here! How can you say no to those pretty eyes she's going to get from her pretty mum? Caden has been asking for a baby sister. You know, it's a mum and son telepathic type of thing. That's what I thought! But Caden learned a new word today! You mean well aware.
I take naps after work at least 3 times a week. I’m sure you could’ve done something at those times! But it was a cute idea anyway, so I’ll let it slide. It doesn’t really, but I’ll pretend it does.
Should you really be pointing out your pretty and now pregnant wife again faults, love? I just realized how much I've missed saying that. I mean, it does still work without the pregnancy part but not as efficient. I thought so too! Anothere idea was to get Caden to carry around a doll that said "baby sister" on the doll's shirt and then have him give it to you saying "Dad, sister" but I found out that was going to take a lot of time. You're the best husband ever.
