my number one advice for parents is to listen to your children tbh. and i dont just mean listening to their problems i mean like. when your kid recites the plot of a movie youve already seen or your tells you about what they did at school today or wants to show you their roblox gameplay. youve gotta be invested in knowing your kid as a person or why are you even doing the whole parenting thing.

obviously they have been referred to correctly on other shows but the constant uses of pronouns in the "count the rice" song just made it really prominent. idk im just so happy

I don't understand how cis people obsessed with gender norms think trans people are the weird ones. they're going around believing that your name has to correlate to your genitals. your fashion has to correlate to your genitals. your behaviours have to correlate to your genitals. your hobbies have to correlate to your genitals. who you date has to correlate to your genitals. whether you can put sparkles on your eyelids or not has to correlate to your genitals. and then people like me go "hmm. dialects also include grammar (like tumblr users' tendency to not captialize except for Emphasis or ending sentences with commas like this,,,,,) and vocabulary (blorbo, devil's sacrament, #mythis, etc)
