This is a roleplay blog, NOT a fandom blog. You're welcome to like and follow if you enjoy the content here, but, mun asks that you please don't reblog any threads that you aren't involved in.

Mun will develop the way they protray Hermes overtime. If any new headcanons for the character arise and become permanent to this blogs portrayal, they will be tagged in the headcanons tag.

Mun is absolutely comfortable to thread with OCs, so long as they aren't already pre-associated with my muse in your universe (I.e. a lover, a son or daughter, etc.)

Understand that Hermes isn't exactly, you know, nice? If you send this blog something and Hermes responds rudely I apologize, but you must be aware that I muse him to source. He isn't polite to just about anyone, give for his Father (Zeus).

Although Hermes is known for having 'game' and being a serial flirt, I am very selective with actual romantic shipping. Just because he is teasing does not mean he wants to marry your muse. Please discuss any shipping ideas beforehand. No I will not thread 'love at first sight' with your OC.

Sindri let out a surprised grunt as he was trapped ( though he knew he had the ability to get away should he want to. He . . . didn’t) , gaze lingering locked on his, ❝ Wouldn’t say you strike me as that, no , but I’ve been wrong before. Although that— doesn’t happen often. ❞ Though the other was clearly relishing in his teasing. Mouth slightly parted at his offer , watching as he hovered to unbuckle the pins on his tunic. Sindri swallowed, hard; he failed to notice how he was now clutching the towel to his chest.

❝ I’m not going to say no if that’s what you’re asking. ❞ The dwarf’s eyes wandered a bit freely , trailing up the thigh now so close to him. If only he held the courage to touch him.

❝ Do the boots stay on during sex? Just curious. ❞

In honesty, the god was not at all expecting Sindri to goad him back. He wondered if the dwarf was just playing along with him, or if he truly did want him to keep ribbing onward. Either way Hermes was far too proud of himself to back away now.

He lifted the clips, allowing his chiton to fall off of his upper body. It brushed along every muscle on his torso as it did. With his chest now bare, anybody could instantly tell why Hermes was so revered and celebrated as the god of athletics from his homeland. For well hidden underneath his drawers was an incredibly well toned set of abdominal muscles and, just above them, a stiff and clean shaven pair of pectorals. His olive skin appeared polished and smooth as the rest of him.

Sindri's playful query followed by the notion it was only curiosity made him laugh. He placed his hands upon his own hips and leaned slightly forward, sporting a toothy grin.

"What a brazen inquiry. Would you like to find out?"

His hand grips the fabric of the sheets tightly, burying his face in them in a futile attempt to hide his face. He was ashamed. Being naked was certainly nothing new to him as it was required to keep clean, but that he was in front of someone and not just anyone but the man that his heart leaped at the sight of? That he was just staring? Heimdall found that he could not handle the heat of the attention. He didn't like having it. Even though he tried to hide, Hermes gently pried the sheet away. He admired him and would gently brush his hands across his skin that, no doubt, was hot to the touch. Heimdall flinched every time and, even now, refused to look at Hermes. Part of him feared that he'd know what it was the god thought of him, of his body, and that it would be nothing good. The rest was simply unable to bring himself to look because if he looked it would suddenly become very real to him what was going on.

"Shut up." Heimdall hisses, face still buried from view. "I told you it was, idiot. You know exactly why I'm nervous, don't pretend like you don't!"

It was adorable. Just, every part of it, the way he was desperately trying to hide his face, the way he was so possessive of his own body, the way he barked back to the snide comment. Hermes chuckled because knew that Heimdall was nervous and he knew he had never done this before, especially not with a male, and he knew how brash the fair skinned god was about the topic- and now, finally exposed before him it appeared that almost all confidence the Aesir once held had waned. They had both been so careful up until now, from undressing one another to bringing themselves to the bed. The messenger god knew that the other was far from ready for coition and he was not going to force any act that was not welcome, as he certainly did not want this to be the last time they engaged in such an intimate game.

"Heimdall, look at me." Hermes had softly grabbed the god's chin and pulled his face into view as he affectionately purred out the Aesir's name. He seldom used it, he was much more akin to using nicknames for the watchman, but he wanted to amplify how seriously he meant the words he intended to say.

"Do you see? See how I carry no ill intent? To téleio chrysó mou. You have a body so perfect I had to hold back tears when you disrobed. I've been waiting for this far too long. I want you to enjoy this, because I do not want this to be the only time you allow me to touch you this way. I promised you before and I shall promise you again now. I won't put my hands anywhere that you will not permit. Alright?"

The lip bite may have caused something to become a bit harder to cover , which only added to Sindri’s fluster. Although he was doing a good job ( in his mind ) at keeping it under . . . towel. ❝ No , I’m done , now , thank you. Apparently a dwarf can’t relax in his own home. ❞

Of course , there was the pressing issue of the God being right in the doorway . . . and his clothing being on the other side. The blacksmith sighed , taking a bold step closer , gaze lifting to meet his. ❝ Excuse me — . . . I’ll just — . . . ❞

His attempt to squeeze past him was rendered useless as soon as he brushed against him. Sindri tensed and pressed himself against the wall beside him , eyes wide. It wasn’t as . . . unpleasant as he expected it to be , which in his mind made it worse , a defeated exhale escaping him. ❝ Are you trying to torture me? because it’s working. ❞

"Now why would I ever do that? Do you take me for some sort of sadist?" Hermes lifted his leg and pressed his boot against the other end of the doorway, trapping Sindri into place even moreso than he was before. "No need for you to be so diffident."

The grin was suddenly wiped clean off of the Olympian's face as another devilish thought crept through his mind. He exhaled. "I do suppose it isn't exactly fair that I am the only one of us to catch an eyeful," with that said, he reached both his hands up to the bronze pins upon his own shoulders, preparing to unclip them from his tunic. "Would you agree?"

No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He does not have the courage for it- what in the nine realms was he even thinking?! What did he think this would accomplish?! He's not sure, but it didn't accomplish anything that made him feel confident about it, and perhaps that's because Hermes, whose ego was big enough to strangle anyone within a ten-mile radius, didn't seem at all bothered by it. That he smoothly kept his stride and pace with it caught Freyr off guard and his brain blanked for an answer.

"There was a bug," He blurted out, quickly removing his hands from the Olympian's shoulders. "On your back, I... probably should have just swatted it off." What a stupid excuse! What is he thinking?! Is he always this foolish when he speaks? "Anyway, it's gone now, you can go now, it's fine and you're fine. Bye-bye, I'll see you next time, have a safe trip 'n all that."

A bug. Of course. Leave it to Freyr to insist nonsense. Hermes often found himself laughing at the knowledge that Freyr was such a dear and well respected ruler when yet he was so often fumbling over his own words and actions. It was endearing in a way, watching the nordic patron of peace so flustered with himself. Hermes just could not allow him to walk away in such a state. Or, rather, couldn't pass up an opportunity to pilfer what he could.

"Kalós," Hermes sighed and grabbed the Vanir by his shoulder before he could turn away. Without a second guess, he placed his other hand on the back of Freyr's head and pulled him with poise into a kiss. It wasn't breif, nor was it timid. The herald eventually pulled the other god by tugging his hair, separating the kiss and giving him a devious wink.

Hermes removed his hands from Freyr entirely and spun around on his heel, facing his back to him. "Well wishes to you too!"

The way he stood there and with such self-certainty was almost . . . infuriating. But it was also somehow . . . enticing that he’d even take a small amount of interest in him , and judging the way he was looking at him , that was what was taking place. Unless Sindri was reading it wrong – which he very well could have been considering his trifles with romance were well . . . none. It wasn’t as though Hermes was hard to look at himself , he was charming and the confidence he exuded was well deserved.

Even thinking about stepping between the realms in his state was uncomfortable. Germy and uncomfortable; his nose scrunched at the thought. The dwarf shook his head then ; it took every ounce of courage for him to rise out of the tub , fumbling to grasp at his towel nearby. ❝ You’d be surprised at how fast I can be when I’m chasing something. Or someone. Not that I do that often – – would you just shoo? ❞ He gestured at him with a bare hand , the other attempting to secure the fabric around his waist.

"I would not, but I do appreciate your asking," the god proudly threw his head back in amusement. He raised a brow at the small man's mention of being surprisingly quick, wondering if it was perhaps a challenge in disguise.

In his own mind it would have been foolish not to stare as Sindri fumbled with one hand, attempting to fit the towel. He bit his lip in curiosity when as Sindri was wrapping his waist, for a split second he caught another brief glimpse of the dwarf's... dwarfhood.

"Drying off so soon? You should finish up, you missed a few spots." Hermes couldn't stop himself poking fun. The more riled up the other became ( especially while still so exposed ) the prouder he felt. "Did you wash behind your ears?"

An audible and horrified gasp left the dwarf as the other stepped forward — his eyes widening as gaze found his. ❝ My stairs weren't made to support — ❞ and then he remembered the God’s buskins. Sadly he’d been more concerned about his house being broken more than he was his nudity , but that was suddenly changed just as quickly , especially at the unabashed words spoken toward him.

❝ I — ❞ He felt his face burning , though it wasn’t as bad as the tips of his ears. For once the dwarf was thankful his hair was down and shrouding them. Sindri’s frown deepened , his hands making a feeble attempt to cover himself. ❝ I’d say thank you if I wasn’t completely mortified by this situation . . . Are you just going to keep standing there? ❞

Seeing the other's ears turn red only encouraged Hermes further. It had been a while since he had the joy of teasing someone this terribly.

"What if I do, hm? What then? Will you chase me out? Will you dissappear and run elsewhere? I highly doubt you're the type to be sallying around the realms while indecent, even if you are imperceptible," the god folded his arms and leaned himself against the polished trim of the doorframe.

He knew that Heimdall was, as all Aesir were, much stronger than his human frame did appear. The blond could not only hold his own in a fight, but he could carry plenty of weight before beginning to strain.

Normally the position would be humiliating, but while kicking his legs in a pretend struggle it was obvious Hermes was greatly enjoying himself. At any moment he could have easily freed himself from Heimdall's grasp, but instead he allowed himself to be carried like a bundle of twigs.

"How helpless I am in your clutches! Wherever are you taking me? To your dungeon to torture me? Unfair, unfair!"

When the Vanir had grabbed him by the shoulders and forced his back to the mossy wall, Hermes was expecting to smell some sort of herb or mead on his breath. He had not anticipated this sort of strength or forwardness from Freyr. Not that he didn't assume him capable, they had played rough before, it was just so... sudden.

The greek cocked a sly grin. "What's the matter, afraid the handsome prince is going to leave without giving a goodbye kiss? No need to be so crass. You could have just asked!"

Upon stepping through the curtain and catching a glimpse of what lay behind, the god's eyes widened, and he stopped in his tracks. He hadnt realized Sindri was still home.

If Hermes were a respectful individual he would have immediately left the dwarf be, apologized and stepped out of his presence. However it was no secret he was often far from giving that sort of kindness and courtesy. Instead, he folded his arms, and giggled as the nude smith's panicked eyes met his own.

"My, my, my. I suppose I shouldn't have been calling you little as much as I have," he mocked, "You dwarves never manage to suprise me with your secrets. How do you manage those.. disproportions?"
