A spinoff you would like to see | Coffeefic as written by derpcakes
Once upon a time, a small coffee shop became a place where the lives of many different people came together. Perhaps that is where it really got the name “The Crossroads”

One of the greatest scenes in film history. I feel so BLESSED
la-cro:
“hm…?” She looked up, turning a bit and looking at the Guest craddling that book in her Hands. “it’s no problem. This one will be held again next week, if you are so much interested in it?” she tilted her head. “What can I do for you?” She wasn’t sure if she was a student, a Parent or anything else. Everything was possible, she was used to have students older then her. “And please… call me Lara, okay?”
❛ i would love to attend if it is at the same time. i am only here for a short time, you see. ❜ diana passed the journal to the other and dipped her hand into her purse for a business card. diana prince. curator, department of antiquities, louvre museum. her visit to the university was rather brief as she had only been there to deliver a piece herself to a friend who happened to teach there as well. ❛ i return to paris later next week. but i would love to hear more about your experiences in the field, seeing as you recover artifacts and i maintain and restore them. ❜

Steve looked up at her in surprise, the feeling quickly replaced with appreciation. He hadn’t said a thing, but somehow she understood what was going through his mind. So he gave her a small smile and a grateful nod, feeling a little better about being here already.
When she opened her line of questions, she didn’t really say anything Steve didn’t knew. Being used to it, however, was quite a different matter, and before he knew it, Steve was shifting a little in his seat, raising the glass of water to his lips to buy himself another moment before he had to answer.
“I guess…” he started carefully, weighing his words on his words before speaking them, “more than anything, it was some people. I’ve been lucky enough to experience kindness, loyalty and… understanding in a way that’s formed and changed my life. And I’ve always wanted to repay that, so… that probably plays a big part for me.”
Steve hoped this was the sort of answer she was after. He wasn’t ever going to be comfortable with talking about specific people to the press, but he was starting to wrap his head around giving answers that could get him out of having to anyway.
❛ i see. so do you feel as if you owe it to those people, to your country? ❜ diana knew she wasn’t going to get the answer she wanted by being vague with her questions. it was all just a facade to ease him into the spot she wanted. for now, she kept the questions open for any response he wished to give at the time. the plan was simple really. she’d have him hold the lasso of hestia under the guise that it was part of an exercise she had soldiers do -- a test of ‘strength’ really. but before they could get to that point, there had to be a mutual exchange of trust between the two. ❛ i have to ask, for the girls back home. do you have a wartime sweetheart? ❜ she smiled. there was a softness in her gaze when she glanced up from her notebook. her fond memory of her steve flashed in her mind, that evening when they saved that town and she was embraced by her first snowfall. it was truly a magical moment, and it warmed the smile on her face. ❛ someone who waits for your letters?❜
You know, that’s really hard on your knees. Totally impractical. They all do it.

/ / i’m probably like one of the worst people you could send negative/shitty messages to on sarahah. i made it to get some good/constructive feedback or for people to open up a conversation about misunderstands from the past/things they were afraid of confronting me with. if you’re just gonna straight up bash me or make catcalls, i’m gonna respond like a potato or just not at all. if anything, i’m just gonna look at it and wonder what else could you have done in that time.
