Pryce could feel his heart beating rapidly in his chest just sitting near the other at the table, a nervous smile forming upon his lips as he reached across the surface to take her hand gingerly into his own. “ I know you didn’t necessarily choose to go on a date with me on your own accord and blind dates are usually the worst, but I want to thank you for being here with me. ” He was usually sentimental, but that was amplified by the mood set by the candles lit around them in the darkened room. “ You’re really beautiful, I never imagined I’d be able to go on a date with someone like you. ”

It had felt like an entirety since Audrey had gone on a date with anyone nor were any of them as thoughtful as this one. As Pryce took her hand her cheeks darkened a bit. “ You don’t have to thank me. It’s a honor Pryce, really. “ she reassured him. “ Nobody has ever really been this gentle with me before. “ Her eyes dropped down to her lap. “ I haven’t really gone on a date well since… “ her  voice trailed off a bit. Orin was the last person she wanted to think about right now. “ Nevermind that. “

Sherlock was standing in the middle of the road, one second he had been walking across the street and the next he had no idea where he was. The male’s face had dropped, he shouldn’t be here. Feet picked up and soon he was on the sidewalk, looking around at everything and mumbling. “I shouldn’t be here, where is here? It just makes no sense. America? The accents, they have to be. Northern? Northeastern, yes. How did I get here? Was I drugged? I can’t remember getting here- it has to be.” He found the nearest seat, something for a restaurant, and sat down. “If I was drugged, then by who? Who would want me out of London? Moriarty? Woodley? It has to be someone else, someone with power… What could they have used?” As he was talking, he looked up to see someone walking pass. He grabbed them by the arm and looked them over, beginning figure out if they were sent by somebody and who they were. “You’re working for them aren’t you- this makes no sense. Tell me, who left me here? I’m supposed to be in London.”

Audrey had thought she was dreaming at first, after all things like this only happened in dreams right? Then again the same could have been said about finding human eating plants as well and she was pretty sure that had happened too. As much as she wanted to be upset she had to admit that this place was a lot better then skid row, but that wasn’t hard considering almost every other place was. She had wandered outside to try and find answers, when she felt someone grab her. The blonde quickly let out a small yelp in surprise. She blinked over at him clearly confused. “ I don’t know sir, I don’t really know where I am myself. “ she confessed.

“I know this might seem like a weird question but…” Eloise’s stomach had begun growling about a couple of hours ago and it was beginning to grow hard not to ignore at this point. “You don’t happen to have any snacks hidden away in here, do you? It’d be my luck to get stuck in a flower shop instead of a candy store,” she mumbled, a small chuckle escaping her. “–Not that I’m totally complaining, this is a really nice place and I’m sure it’s really fun working here!”

The blonde had quickly begun to pity the girl. Audrey shook her head giving her a sympathetic look. “ Unfortunately not, Mr Mushnik doesn’t allow it. He thinks it’ll bring in ants. “ she explained, while leaning up against the bench behind her. There had been a few times when her and Seymour had snuck in food but those times were rare. Audrey had to smile, There was something sort of comforting about being around so many flowers and plants all the time.

In her mailbox is an envelope and in the envelope is a check for $50,000. Attached is a note. “Hi Audrey! Happy Holidays from your Secret Santa, Billy.”

When Audrey had found the envelope in her mail she could barely believe her eyes. Her mouth fell open and she had to reread the check just to make sure she had read the amount right. The blonde couldn’t help but let a steam of happy tears fall from her eyes. She would have to find some way to thank Billy for the generous act.

After everything, Audrey was glad to have some time to relax and forget about the rest of her worries. As she watched the flames flicker in the fireplace she let out a content side before, resting her head atop Seymour’s shoulder.

Audrey had convinced Mr. Mushnik that putting up some mistletoe at the shop’s front door would make the place more festive. What she didn’t expect was for her and Seymour to fall into it’s trap. “ Oh... I didn’t expect this. “ she confessed, blushing a bit.

When he saw the tears, Seymour immediately pulled his best friend into a hug. If there was one thing he hated, it was seeing Audrey cry. However at the mention of her ex, Seymour gulped. He knew exactly why the sadistic dentist was no longer around. Taking a breath, he spoke, trying to not let the shakiness in his voice show. “Hey, shhh, don’t cry Audrey.”

Audrey couldn’t help it, the next thing she knew she had buried her face in Seymour’s chest letting out all the tears she had been holding in for weeks. “ I’m sorry, I don’t mean to make such a scene I just.. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do or how to feel. “ she confessed in between sobs.

Seymour picked up on her hesitation, however, he wasn’t going to point it out. “Are you sure?” He asked, not convinced. Although he couldn’t get into her head, he could see that there was something wrong. “If there’s something that’s bothering you…you can tell me.”

All it took was for him to ask if she was alright for her eyes to instantly well up with tears. “ I.. I don’t know. “ she confessed. “ So much has happened and then the thing with Orion.. “ Audrey paused before tears began to slip down her cheeks.

Seymour let out a sigh of relief at Audrey’s reply. At least he wasn’t losing his mind…yet. Looking over at Audrey, he blushed. If he could’ve, he probably would’ve put in an order to send Audrey a bouquet of flowers. However, he didn’t have much money for luxuries as it was. Walking out from behind the counter, he walked over to Audrey. “Are you alright, Audrey?” Even when he was oblivious to the world around him, Seymour always paid attention to Audrey.

She hesitated a moment at his question before slowly nodding. “ Yeah, I’m fine. Really. “ she said, attempting to sound as convincing as possible. It was clear to see however that she was far from fine.The last thing Audrey wanted though was to bother him with all her troubles.

Despite having been confused by the constant flower orders during the week before, Seymour had actually enjoyed himself. Mr. Mushnik hadn’t complained once, or yelled at him, and he’d actually let Seymour showcase the newest plant he’d found in the window. However, despite the positive attention that the shop had gotten, the bespectacled male wasn’t sure why so many orders had come in. “Did anyone else notice that it was Valentine’s Day in November last week?” He asked, more to himself than to anyone else. “Or was it just me?”

 Audrey had been fairly distracted lately. After the news of Orion being found dead she wasn’t sure if she was supposed to be relived or upset. Part of her couldn’t help but feel both. As she twirled a pink rose between her two fingers she glanced up at the sound of Seymour’s voice. “ Hmm? “ she hummed out. “ Oh, I don’t think so no. “ she replied honestly.

Thinking about going back to school but paperwork is not my strong suit,” The redhead admits in a way he usually wouldn’t. “I uh - don’t suppose you’re any good at it?”

Audrey smiled and nodded her head shyly. “ Of course. “ she replied. “ Oh.. well I wouldn’t say I’m the greatest with it.. “ she admitted. “ But I guess I could always try to help. “ she gave him a small smile.
