it probably won’t be long before someone starts fighting with someone else, but at least it was peaceful right now. or at least, quiet. perfect time for hayal to do some investigating. the romans might have brought tension but the weapons were what caught their eye. they managed to get ahold of one of the roman’s sword – the name of the demigod already lost in her mind – and they held it up alongside one of their own. after all, the difference were clearly seen in the bright sunlight.
“what do you think kiwi?” hayal called out to the dove perched on a nearby branch. they sent the roman’s sword down on their personal workbench, tilting her head at it. “think ours might break this one?”

to say aurelia was spying would be a gross overstatement...but to say she wasn’t might be something of an understatement. she had seen the girl from afar, hayal the greeks had called her in passing; aurelia was good with names. less so with numbers, even worse with months and the dates of holidays. no matter, today was of little notoriety — right? lips twitching into a frown, she edges nearer, dark eyes following the girl’s movements as she compares steel. it’s not a holiday, she decides with a firm nod, and that doesn’t belong to hayal; two things she’s now sure of.
“my money’s on yes,” aurelia chirps, stepping near enough to be heard, “but then we’d only have the one sword to play with.” she offers a bright smile, brushing shoulders with the greek, “and what’s the fun in having one sword when we can have two?” there would be little chance of bridging the distance between the two rival camps were one to ruin the property of another, and aurelia, though not typically against a bit of trouble, understands it has no place here. not anymore. “or three?” brown eyes widen, “not any chance you can replicate weapons is there?” she hums, tilting her head to better search hayal’s face.
