✯—Crimson & Scarlet—♥
A stray feather caught in the wind, victim to wherever the direction seemed to shift, no longer in control of its’ own descent; a fair comparison to how she was now. Though, for a feather, it was only natural to soar--such was not the case for her. The princess would no doubt be thankful that the portal she created was stable enough, but falling through an endless expanse of an aureate dimension was still somewhat terrifying. Her body was weak, fading into unconsciousness as she fell, her inability to keep the corridor of light in one piece causing it to fluctuate. Half-lidded eyes were set towards the haze of radiance that she was falling from, taking note of the occasional gush of red coming from her body. Ah, that put more things into perspective. The girl was no idiot, she was aware of how battered she was, but to see that amount of blood being lost--well it suddenly made sense why she was about to pass out completely.
It briefly drew into her mind, as the portal engulfing her began to break apart, that she might be close at death’s door. An eternal slumber for the princess that took on more than she could chew, falling victim to the hordes of darkness that sought to tear her down. To die from such stupid arrogance on her part--it infused her with rage. A dose of anger reserved for her idiocy, for mistakes made by a woman that knew better than to pull something reckless like she had just moments ago. Even worse, she was forced to flee, tuck her tail and dive into that portal that she created out of sheer desperation. Now here the wielder was, plummeting through the verges of radiance and unseen space. That is, until her back was suddenly on solid ground. If she hadn’t even took notice of the grass beneath her or the blue sky above her in contrast to moving light, then her life was practically forfeit.
Mandatory fatigue became the cause for nearly closed eyes to shut, though she struggled her damnedest to keep them open. Her thoughts were scattered, of splintered rage and disappointment. The voices of two boys pierce through her conscious, easily hearing their exhausted dismay in her crippled state. It burns her to be in such a disastrous situation, but even she could not deny the will to sleep when her body begged for it. Pale lids were finally fluttering to a close, bright oceanic eyes still in view of that heavenly azure sky above her... and for a mere second--a head of blazing scarlet standing at the right of her bloodied form. Someone had found her, she thought--no, she knew. Somehow, she felt as if they were meant to, a searing message sent from her heart to her mind.
It was just a tad humiliating to have so much blood on her in front of a new and possible friend.
