Buck listened to the other and gave him a soft smile. "No, you are fine. honestly, I like getting to know you, no matter what I am learning, it's still nice. Well they do say that, yes, but talking about your family isn't a bad thing." Buck got it, he didn't have the best family growing up and he hated to admit it, but he really only missed his older sister. He was kind of glad his parents were in Ivy Cove. He felt like he could finally be himself and be happy here. "I could listen to you for hours. I mean, you are pretty handsome and nice to look at." he teased.

Normally he was proud, and bragging about how he'd wanted to be the leader of the world. But there was no way Buck would ever approve of that. Salem just knew it deep in his gut.

Yes, she did not like most pirates. Yet, her old life had been more exciting than this one. It might look like a bar pirates would go to, but.... that was just looks. The burgers were okay, but the beer was only lukewarm.
"I would recommend.... hey!" A sour looking man with a beard , a scar on his cheek and very tiny eyes was placing his empty beer bottle on the counter next to her with way too much force before trying to push away the costumer she was talking to in this very moment.

It had started as such a normal day. Edmund had only been walking home, not really thinking about it as he made the journey so many times, he could do it practically in his sleep at this point. Instead he had been walking, thinking about what he was going to make for dinner, and nothing else.
It was then that it hit him like a tank. Memories he hadn't held before suddenly coming back. A country he didn't remember being in, a family he didn't remember having, a war he didn't remember fighting in. All hitting at once. It was enough to feel winded, stopping in his tracks. Which unfortunately was bad timing, not realising someone had been walking behind him and bumped into him. "Sorry I... was worlds away" not really the case, but close enough.

She could not deny that it did remind her a little of District 12. Only there, people usually were not paying attetion for other reasons. One of them trying to survive from one day to the next....
