“I am sorry, I have this very important meeting with a college. I know you are going through something but I really need to go.”
“I-I just think you dropped this.”
“I’m perfectly fine. The other guy, not so much.”
“Um, what did you do?”

Charlot smirked at Elliot’s reaction to meeting one of the younger siblings, pleased. “She’s six,” They told him, taking their sibling off their shoulders and placing her on the ground. “I’ll be back, try not to get into too much trouble.” They called over their shoulder before disappearing further into the house to grab their bag, leaving Alice staring up at Elliot. Upon retrieval of their bag, they were joined by two other siblings hanging off of them, Avery and Maggie tugging at his arms. “Mum’s gonna be home in a bit but until then, Avery-” They pointed at Alice. “Alice, you both listen to Mags. Noah and Theo are out so she’s in charge.” They told the two before looking at Elliot with a wiry smile. “This is Maggie,” He gestured to the elder of their siblings. “and Avery.”
Elliot beamed with delight, nodding, “Six years old, good age. I’m sixteen, so it’s been awhile.” He waited patiently for Charlot to get their bags, turning his head to examine the place. As Charlot came back and talked to the younger siblings, Elliot raised his eyebrows. “Wait, so you, Alice, Maggie, Avery, then people named Noah and Theo? Are they all your siblings? That’s certainly a lot of people in one house...” He examined in complete surprise. Elliot knew that some people had a large family, but being an only child with just his two fathers, it still shocked him when people managed to cope with so many people in one house.

Yawning, Charlot lifted the child that disturbed their sleep up onto their shoulders. Above them, Alice giggled like mad, tangling her small hand in their colourful hair. “Someone’s at the door, Char.” They heard Maggie call, drawing their attention away from the child on their shoulders. “I got it,” They hummed, making their way slowly to the door with Alice poking at their cheeks. Unlocking it and pulling it open with an easy swing, the punk’s eyebrows rose before a smirk curled at their lips. “Who?” Alice questioned, patting their head for their attention. “Elliot, Alice- Alice, Elliot,” They introduced, stepping aside and gesturing for the younger to step in. “I just need to grab my bag and we can go.” They told him, looking forward to their trip.
Elliot waited patiently on the porch, waiting for Charlot to come to the door. Elliot smiled largely as he saw the other, waving softly at them as they opened the door, immediately looking down at the young girl as he stepped into the house. “Aww, nice to meet you Alice!” He beamed, giving the small girl a large wave before laughing a little bit, “Sorry, I just really love little kids. She’s so cute! How old is she?” Elliot asked Charlot, “Oh, you can tell me after you get your bag, if you would prefer.” He told the older with a nod.

Charlie: I didn't mean for it to come off like that.
Charlie: And I'll delete it if you want.
Charlie: I don't want us to stop talking, Elliot.
Elliot: How many people have you said that to?
Elliot: Charlie, I know about you.
Text || Charlie
Charlie: You're pissed cause I posted a picture of you and me and then someone decided to get jealous and tweet?
Charlie: I enjoyed hanging out with you, why would I want to throw all that shit away?
Charlie: You really helped me through the stuff with my sister, I wouldn't do anything to hurt you.
Elliot: Okay, but after that, it looked like you were using me against somebody else, which I really don't appreciate.

Elliot brought his bag with snacks to the house, excitement bubbling in his stomach as he thought about the events ahead. He ran a hand through his dark brown hair as he smiled as he thought about it all. If he couldn’t get almost thirty people to go due to his accident, at least he could get somebody else to go with him. He hoped Charlot actually wanted to do this, and they weren’t just saying that. Elliot slipped on a leather jacket, knowing it would be cold up north. Carrying his bag, he walked up to Charlot’s door, knocking softly as he rocked on the balls of his feet, feeling like he would burst from excitement at any given moment.

Elliot: I'm sorry, but throw away "everything that's on me"?
Elliot: I don't need other people, especially not ones like you. I'm not weak, and I won't be treated like it.
@ofcelliot: I'm sorry I'm not going to stand back and watch somebody use me
@ofcelliot: I'm a talented, straight A junior
@ofcelliot: I don't care what you think, but I'm worth more.
@ofcelliot: I love when people post pictures of me that are obviously a tool for jealousy.
@ofcelliot: I'm not some factor in a larger equation to whatever the Hell you want.

Charlie couldn’t help the chuckles that escaped his throat as Elliot began to babble about Teletubbies, knowing the other often would go off on such weird tangents, however it was amusing. “Damn, you sure must’ve been quite the die hard Teletubbies fan if you can talk that much about a show made for two year olds.” He leaned in quickly, bumping shoulders against the other. He enjoyed Elliot’s company, it made him feel as if he could forget about the stress that was going on in his life and he could just laugh and really have fun.
Elliot nodded, Charlie’s words and seemingly happy manners actually convincing him that maybe he wasn’t so weird, “Yep, of course. The show of miracles, obviously. Three-hundred and sixty-five episodes of beauty.” He laughed softly, shaking his head. “Hey, who knows though, this show could beat it. The happy sun will just be hard to beat, though.”

Charlie shook his head quickly, waving Elliot over. “No no no, you should come sit right here and experience the most amazing show ever created.” He took another sip, the cold and rich taste pleasing his mouth. He scooted a bit close once Elliot took a seat, pulling the blanket so that it covered the other’s lap and adjusted so they each had about an equal amount of the blanket. “You don’t look lame at all, you look adorable.” He replied, only half jokingly.
Elliot laughed, “The most amazing? I don’t know man, the Teletubbies is pretty damn amazing. Nothing can beat that sun. That sun is me, and you can’t deny it.” He joked, “Oh my gosh, you invited me over and gave me this nice bottled water and everything and I’m literally talking about Teletubbies. I feel like you’re just going through quite the experience.” Elliot smiled, but inside his head, he was scolding himself for allowing himself to act so weird around somebody else. He’d seen what he could get into after acting like this. He wasn’t going to be the weird one.

Charlie couldn’t help the laugh that escaped his mouth. He doubted Elliot would react in time, let alone be able to, catch the water bottle. “No judging, just might have to remind you of this everyday for quite a few days.” He adjusted himself comfortably, pulling the blanket that rested at the head of the couch over his lap. “Do you want some? This blanket is huge and I’m way too lazy to walk upstairs and get another one.” He took another quick sip of his beer, his eyes staring at the large television that sat before the two.
Elliot shook his head, acting offended, “Wow, I should just leave right now, shouldn’t I.” He joked, taking a drink of his water, raising his eyebrows as the coldness of the water slid down his throat. “Yeah, I’ll have some, thank you.” Elliot smiled, scooting a bit closer to Charlie before pulling the other part of the large blanket over himself, the warmth making him feel comfy, “Yay. I feel all nice and warm.” He smiled, curling up into the warmth slightly. “Sorry, I probably look completely lame.” Elliot giggled, covering part of his face with the blanket.

Charlie smiled when Elliot was understanding about the situation, nodding in return. “I appreciate it man.” He opened the mini fridge, pulling a bottle of Bud Light out for himself and reaching to the very back until his finger tips graced the plastic bottles of water. Closing the door, he gently tossed Elliot his bottle of water and popped open his beer, taking a large swing. The television was already on so he took a seat on the couch and patted the spot next to him, an invitation for the other. He scrolled through the multiple television shows and films until he decided on American Horror Story. “You good with this? If not I’m sure I can find something else.” He looked at the other male, taking another slight sip before a smile spread across his lips.
Elliot smiled, “No problem.” While reaching out to catch the flying bottle of water, he fumbled, and ended up totally missing it. His face flushed in embarrassment as he bent down, picking up the water bottle. “You know, I tried, I really did, so don’t judge me.” Elliot joked, shaking his head softly. He walked over, sitting down on the couch, “Yeah, I’ve never seen it before.” He told the other, shrugging. “I haven’t seen much, I guess.” Elliot admitted, unscrewing the cap on his water bottle awkwardly.

Charlie stepped aside, allowing Elliot to enter his house. Once the other was inside Charlie closed the door before noticing the smile the other had, returning it quickly. “Ehh, I’ve had a lot better days but it’s whatever. I’m just trying to get my mind off shit.” He appreciated Elliot’s concern, however Charlie wasn’t the type of person to feed into sympathy, he felt it made him weak and vulnerable, something he hated. “So, do you want to watch Netflix or play Call of Duty? I’m open to either suggestion.” He was happy to have someone over, help avoid his thoughts of his sister and the entire event that took place. “Do you want a beer or Dr. Pepper? That’s basically all we have besides water right now.” He walked in the living room, eyeing the mini fridge in the corner.
Elliot nodded, “Hey, I understand. It’s completely fine to not be totally okay, trust me,” He assured the other softly. Elliot pondered the question at hand for a few seconds, respecting the fact that Charlie most likely didn’t want to dwell at whatever situation was on his mind. “Hmm, I’ll watch Netflix, I’m really not one for any type of shooting games. I mean, if you would like to, I’ll live, but that’s just my opinion, I guess.” He shrugged. Elliot really hoped Charlie decided against the game. Ever since the incident, he couldn’t play shooting games. Of course, he wasn’t going to tell the other male this information. “I’ll just have some water,” Elliot smiled, “Please.”

Elliot: Just yourself and whatever else you want
