dreamvrs:
❛ 𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑤𝘩𝑎𝑡 𝑖 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑑𝑜 𝑤𝑖𝑡𝘩 𝑖𝑡? ❜ utters lyanna, blue-grey hues falling upon the crown of winter roses sat before her on the bar top, entirely inanimate but managing to taunt her still. petals, pale blue like frost — she’d not seen anything quite like them before, drawn to their beauty but inwardly, disgusted by what they represented. no cause could be attributed to the way she felt however, the petals may have haunted her dreams but bottomline still remained : these weren’t memories she can remember ever having experienced, they weren’t real. it all felt so irrational but as deft, delicate fingertips graze the thing, she feels herself succumbing to the idea of tearing it apart. looking to the other for guidance, plea is silent but discernible on fair features. ❛ besides wear it, that is… i thought about offering it up to the florists, or using each flower to make corsages, it is prom season after all. but i’m more than open to ideas. ❜
“Is there a reason you don’t want to wear it?” Jude asked, an eyebrow raised and her tone credulous. The crown she found on her head as she spoke. It felt right to wear, it felt like coming home for the crown to rest upon her head. As much as it echoed in her dreams and even though she wore it in a few nightmares it left her still with a palpable confidence, left her with the feeling that the world was her’s to rule or to ruin. “It’s a beautiful crown.” She thought it didn’t compare to her own though she doubted that now that she’d seen her own that anything would rival its beauty in her mind. “Other than wearing it? What’s the point in doing anything but?”
