I’m trying to let go of my guilt and shame over asking for help. I wouldn’t judge someone else for doing the same. I’d rather use the money of kind and generous people than that of parents who used to abuse me. I hope every person who’s donated knows how much it is appreciated.

I made a gofundme. I’m desperate and scared and don’t want to go through withdrawal. One medication is so important, no one has survived that autoimmune disease without treatment. My family is sick of me being a burden and producing nothing. I can’t control that I am disabled.

I don’t post enough. I’ve got such a limited amount of energy (read The Spoon Theory if you want to understand daily life with chronic illness) and I have to prioritize which things will get my energy. So usually I end up choosing showering or talking to my boyfriend or stretching over blogging. I hate doing that because this matters to me, but I only have so much to spare.

I hope if I can finally get proper treatment I’ll be able to go back to talking about positive body image, coping with past abuse, letting go of food guilt, and other things that very much matter to me.

I care about all of you. I care about your recoveries and your mental health. I want to be able to answer your questions and have conversations and share what’s helped me again. I want to have the energy to do so.

Anyone with a twitter account:

The account @EDSupportNtwrk is running a pro ana weight loss competition. They have been running one after another all year. They’re treating eating disorders like a game and encouraging already dying people to do things that could kill them.

If you could all reblog and/or report that twitter account for spam that would be awesome. I want them shut down and discouraged from doing something so sick. Encourage others not to take part in it.
