One thing about me I’m a Hanzo defender until I die. Anytime I discuss Hanzo lore with someone and I’m met with “yeah but he killed genji” I want to DIE YES I KNOW THAT 😭 HAVE NONE OF YOU GUYS SEEN THE DRAGONS SHORT?? MY MAN HATES HIMSELF FOR WHAT HE DID??

I like hc/ writing cassidy as somone who latches onto others to survive in the sense of he becomes a shadow for that person until it becomes too hot and is forced to dip or the person themselves separate from him.

Like hes always prepared to leave at the drop of the hat and cut ties because hes learned not to get too attached because its a trap. A trap he fell into when he met ashe, a trap he fell into when he was in blackwatch and formed connections(esp with gabe, thats a whole other can of worms), and a trap that hes taking a gamble on being in ow right now. He knows how it feels to get burned and would rather watch that flame with a distance?

And while he does value the friendships and relationship he builds, there's still a "break if everything goes to hell" emergency button present in the back of his mind that he feels guilty for. Even in times of happiness or mid conversation there's always a "but if" plan.
