like besides the “technology is bad thomas edison was a witch” argument i think theres worth in criticising social media. corporations make sales off of pretending to be quirky and relatable while teenagers with over 10k followers get into discourse bc people think they owe them something….like i was on deviantart and youtube when i was 11/12 but it really scares me seeing 12 year olds now having to commodify themselves. its not healthy lmao
