&& @ofherage didn’t ask for a starter but by god she need Charles
--- a night with moody, is the rumor that has been spreading around. condemnable, he thinks, at least for james. he can’t help feel a bit envious of the sixth officer. she is a beautiful woman, not to mention intelligent, freethinking, and kind. everything a woman ought to be in this day in age. most women on board are persnickety and too far up their own ass to give a damn about anything. but not hermione. when he spots her on the promenade, his first idea is to strike up a conversation. he will try not to pursue her ; of course, as any woman does, she has a reputation to uphold. last thing anybody on this ship wants to know is her seeming infatuation with the ship’s officers and how she has them wrapped around her pinky finger. it is true though, but he wouldn't want any one of those first or second class ladies to have her be a topic of their despicable gossip. he approaches her, nodding his head in greeting. “ good afternoon, miss granger. “
