Unsuk Chin is a Korean composer whose music has been described as colorful, audacious, and darkly humorous. She won the the Grawemeyer Award in 2004 and the Arnold Schoenberg Prize in 2005, among others. Her second opera, Alice Through the Looking Glass, is set to premiere in 2018.
