I hate when trans people are like "we need to stop the infighting!! It doesn't matter who has it worse because at the end of the day we're all trans!!!" Because its such a bullshit way to completey ignore the suffering TMA people experience that TME people don't.

If i were to say "men and women should stop fighting because we are all human at the end of the day" it would be misogynistic and ignoring the suffering of women.

These power imbalances do exist and those who insist they dont and that we are "all faggots in the eyes of the state" are being straight up transmisogynistic.

Everytime I feel like I try and bring these things up with TME trans people in my life they seem to take it as i am devaluing their suffering and saying that Transfem are the only ones who experience suffering for their transness. I in no way believe that they do not suffer but then they will turn around and try and one up my suffering amd undermine my experience belittling me in the process.

I do think that we are all in this together but I think that realizing the place of power as a TME you hold against someone effected by transmisogyny is important.
