Lyrical Detroit artist JordanL (@jordanlmusic) battles inside the Friday Night Cypher at HOT 107.5 and walks away with bragging rights for the year as he claims his spot, the last slot, for Summer Jamz 21 which will be held at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Wednesday July 25, 2018.
JordanL took over the air waves with his hot 16 bars, ripping any competition that stood in his way. “Its an amazing feeling. I always believed that the moments you prepare for are possible, but to see them manifest right in front of your eyes make it seem unreal” said JordanL after taking 50% of the votes. “I’m just blessed. Its all a blessing from the higher ups.”
Alongside JordanL was his competitors Jay Mal and Friday Night Cypher core brother OMG Flu (@omg_flu). JordanL had this to say about Jay Mal. “Jay Mal came out with a great mentality, he seemed focused and poised to go for the W. He has a bright future as long as he keeps going.” OMG Flu came with the heat in this three man battle, but JordanL stood his ground. “Flu came out with fire in his eyes. He fasho came for the jugular and was relentless through the whole first verse. I was inspired. I had to give it 120%. He was a worthy opponent.”
