When you're reading King's Cage and accidentally stumble into SOC
Peanuts, November 1, 1950
A real ride or die.
She went for his life. She went for his God damn family Seven Generations down. She went hard.
“Once upon a time, a girl had a father, a prince, a society of friends. Then they betrayed her, so she destroyed them all.”

At this age you gotta accept that if you want to be with someone, you both still got growing up to do. You either grow together or outgrow each other.

“I wish you could be kissed, Jane,” he said. “Because I would beg just one off you. Under all this.” He flailed an arm toward the stars. “And then we’d never say anything about it again.”
That could’ve been the end of it. I want something more. She said, “We can pretend. Just once. And then we’ll never say anything about it again.”
I should infinitely prefer a book.
Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen (via existential-celestial)
stop telling girls with thick thighs that they shouldn’t wear light wash jeans because they’re “unflattering.” stop telling short girls that they shouldn’t wear high-waisted jeans because they make them look shorter. stop telling girls with big thighs to stay away from baggy clothes and boyfriend jeans. stop telling petite girls they can’t wear capris. stop telling telling tall girls to avoid wearing heels so they won’t “intimidate” people. stop telling skinny girls to only wear tops that give them the illusion of having hips. stop telling girls with big boobs to avoid shirts and dresses without a waist. stop telling chubby girls to stay away from patterns and horizontal stripes. stop telling girls with cellulite to wear long shorts. stop telling short girls to wear heels and vertical stripes to make themselves look taller. stop telling pale girls they can’t wear warm colors and stop telling dark girls they can’t wear cool colors. stop telling girls to be ashamed of their body type.
every book i’ve ever read: and i darken by kiersten white
It just hit me the other day that we don’t know how Sarah J Maas writes finales. This year we will get two finale books, and we’ve never had one from her before. What if she’s the kind of author who likes killing lots of characters off? What if she’s the kind of author who likes open endings? What about an epilogue?
