For 2.5 million years the earth’s climate has fluctuated, cycling from ice ages to warmer periods but in the past century the planet’s temperature has risen unusually fast. Human activity has released a large amount of carbon dioxide and other gases into the atmosphere causing a drastic change in living and non-living things. Humans started to retreat to higher grounds to escape air pollution and the rising coastlines but still struggle to survive the physical and mental defeat.
The year is 2033.
