What are the Lair Games, and how can I join?
Lair Games is an art battling event hosted by and for TMNT fans. We first hosted our event in 2023 on Twitter, but this year we've expanded to other social medias.
The event runs for two weeks in June. This year, we're starting on June 14th. Before the event starts, all players will be placed on one of two teams. During the event, you gain points for your team by drawing the TMNT OCs belonging to players on the other team! You can also draw characters on your own team with a 50% point decrease.
The purpose of the Lair Games is to celebrate the wonderful creative characters made by TMNT fans! It is, above all, an event to create artwork and share OCs, through a bit of friendly competition.
So, how do I sign up?
Firstly, have any of these social medias: Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, TikTok, BlueSky, or Discord. The Discord server (follow this link if you'd like to join) is the most active community space for Lair Games, but any one of them is fine!
Next, join a team! The theme this year is City vs Sewers, and you can sign up at any time before or during the runtime of the event. If you can't choose a team, our team can place you on one of the teams ourselves. Follow this link to sign up!
Once you've chosen your team, be sure to share your TMNT OCs using the team templates we've posted, and have somewhere for others to view your characters. Use the tag #Lair Games 2025 when you post!
If you want to make sure the official account sees and reblogs your Lair Games posts, feel free to @ us! We try to check the tag regularly, but it's possible we may miss something.
If you've done all that, then you're free to sit back and wait for the event to start! At 12pm EST on Sunday, June 14th, we will officially start the 2025 Lair Games. We'll post another google form, where you can submit your attacks and get your team some points!
