Anon from before back!! Yes, I was aware it only works once, but I'm wondering if there's a way to EVER get Umbreon or Espeon again? I've evolved other Eevees, but they never turn out >.> So is it impossible to get them again?

Hey this to help out the other anon with the Umbreon/Espeon name trick. I've used it and it works, and it worked for both of my siblings too. Just make sure you spell Tamao for Umbreon and Sakura for Espeon, and make sure the spelling is correct. The nickname only works once, but I have pretty decent Pokemon because of it.

Hey, I heard the name trick only works once for Umbreon and Espeon, and I wasted my good IV Eevees trying to get them before I knew the nickname trick, and now I'm stuck with a weak Umbreon and a weak Espeon. I've been getting others and trying to use the trick but it isn't working... And I really want a good Umbreon and Espeon. I heard that if you make your Eevee your buddy and then nickname it that'll help? But I'd like to verify it first...
personally, i don't believe in the name trick. unfortunately i don't know how to help you, all i can say is just try and beef them up by catching and transferring eevees to load up on candies -mod Oak
Glad to see you're still around! Gen 2 is my favorite gen and I caught a houndour today!! I'm so happy, houndour/houndoom are tied with typhlosion for my favorite pokemon!

The Pokémon GO update is now starting to be rolled out on Android and iOS devices. This update adds compatibility for the new Johto Pokémon, adds genders to the Pokémon you encounter including gender differences for Pokémon that have them in the main game, includes new kinds of berries, new items, new customisation options, new UI alterations allowing for the new features and various new character customisation options. At present, Johto Pokémon are not activated. In addition to this, from later this afternoon until February 28th, Pokémon Storage upgrades will require less Poké Coins to purchase. Screenshots from the Japanese press pack have also showed the process of evolving with items. The item will be included in the cost of evolution. For example, Scyther requires 40 Scyther Candy and 1 Metal Coat to evolve.
