So much for consistency...

Hahaha I already knew this was gonna happen but oh well. I’m in Kentuckiana right now just spending time with my dad and grandma and whoever else from his family that I haven’t seen in like 10 years. I’m happy to see them and connect with them and forge these connections that I wasn’t able to before. I think that this trip really is good for my mind and soul, however corny that may be, and I am sad that the time is flying the way it is. But oh well, it is what it is. I’m here to vacation, not to stress about all the little things. After this vacation, I’ll be in Montana with my mom and brothers and I’ll be focusing on getting ready for college. So for now I’ll enjoy the company of the family and the beer in my hand. Talk to y’all soon, hopefully. Love you guys!   <3

From “Spring Rain”

“ The spring rain falls                                                                                              but promises not one flower                                                                                    as the innocent porcelain                                                                                        received his last shower.

Dark yet darker he went,                                                                                          his shield, strong shield                                                                                            received its last dent.                                                                                            Shattered.                                                                                                                Not that it mattered.                                                                                                Broken shard in hand                                                                                              At his wrist he ripped and tore,                                                                              Brilliant porcelain innocent no more.

From “The Special Spot”

“ The sand darkens and waves lovingly caress the shore, slowly displacing the nearby grains. They retreat into the vast, open ocean beyond. The cerulean-tinted water flows gracefully, rocking back and forth.Just subtle movements, but enough to catch the reflection of the sun, creating stars that top the crests.  I look up and try to distinguish between the fluffy clouds, and the squawking sea birds. The white conflicts with the never ending blue, polka dotting the aquamarine sky. The seagulls complain of the wind; I’m content as I eavesdrop.”

Ode to Remembrance

In my history class, we’re doing a family heritage project, and it’s probably the most interesting thing we’ve done. I got ahold of a family tree that stretched back to the 1800′s. I thought it was pretty cool, and it turns out I’m mostly like Irish, German and Scottish. Who knew

Edit: I’ve found a family tree that goes all the way back to the 900′s. Apparently I have like kings, dukes and princesses in my ancestry. Most of it traces back to Ireland and Germany, but a lot of the royalty is from France, actually.

The First Post !!!

Well, I’ve decided to make a new blog. My first one is actually level one-thousand cringe and should never be seen again (it’s in the tags xD). But for the blog, I’m just planning on, you know, blogging my life. I think that recording my college experiences might be a nice project.
