chikorita gets clowned on a lot for its shit stats and a movepool i would be hard-pressed to describe as "extant" but designwise it's really evocative. it begs the kind of questions that make pokemon so magical: what IF a lima bean was a small dog. what IF instead of a head it had like. a weird nub. with an anime face on it. what if it could throw a fistful of razors across the room

If you know me, you know I make no secret of my leftist politics. One of the most radical political ideas I ever learned about is cause and

I don't think I've shared this here, but if you did not know, my wife is bedridden due to Long COVID and ME/CFS. I am her full time caregiver and she started a blog which she updates when she has the energy. She really appreciates people reading, commenting and subscribing to her blog as it's one of her few remaining connections to the outside world.

Sorry for the relative inactivity lately! The good news is, that I just released another batch of Pokemon songs, many of which were never previously posted online. For context, most of these songs were recorded between 2017-2019, and while my pace of Pokémon related songwriting has slowed down slightly, I've made a commitment to never stop making them entirely.

I don't know when Volume 3b, 3c, 4, 5, ect will be released, but I think it could be funny to take a 40 year hiatus and then complete this project out of nowhere.
