i,,,, may have gone fell down a rabbitโs hole lmao. so!! after just randomly getting on one abt cinematography & like how locations and scenery play a lot into like the gothic horror genre, i might of made a story locations page for forrest and arabellaโs backstory as well as present story, since their characters are basically entangled. i find the places that theyโve been or are currently at to be v important to who they are and their progression in their story bc the locations act almost as if theyโre their own character, much like how h.p lovecraft has written in his novelties, or if youโd like a more modern day reference, american horror story with pretty much any of the places they filmed at.ย
anywhoosits!! both pages include the following details: the fictional historical background of each home ( tw for cunchemโs home for orphans: war, slavery, death, infertility, mentions lightly of child neglect & abuse // tw for halliwell house: agoraphobia, states briefly of rats, cockroaches, mildew, bones, mold, disease, & hints at deathย ย ) how it ties into forrest and arabellaโs plot, and some things that were used as inspiration for both the orphanage and their current residency.ย ย
* important things to note: if youโre unfamiliar, forrest callfield was sent to a wayward orphanage where he met his longtime best friend arabella gore, who is also a dark witch like himself.
