Takes a big deep breath.

“ So my birthday is tomorrow and while Mickey’s birthday every year is a big flippin’ deal, the only birthday of mine that was a big deal was two years ago when I turned 90. And during that one birthday of mine, I was teased over and over again by the Disney execs that I was going to get my own show. Can you believe it? My own show! But I shoulda known better than to believe that because they’ve yet to talk to me about it and there’s no progression on any show. It’s like there’s nothing going on for me and Bob was just pulling my chain. ”

Oswald gives a frustrated huff and tugs at his ears.

“ It’s... just not fair! I’ve been back for how long and I still haven’t been in much since I got back! And every time, still, even now, whenever anyone makes a big deal about Mickey... I love him, he’s my brother and I know it’s shitty of me and maybe it’s just my dumb depressed brain that can’t help but still feel some resentment towards him deep down! He gets everything and I’m still, even now, left with nothing! And of course if dad was here... well, I can’t even imagine that, but if he was... why do I feel like he’d probably be too busy to even care? That’s sure how Bob and the other execs act like when it comes to me... they’re too busy with their Star Wars and Marvel properties and all the money they’re making to care about a lousy old toon like me... ”
