         he’d surprised himself with his reaction to alice’s song, & without even having a moment to even think about how he was feeling. it was as if his emotions took over for once in his life, & he was powerless to stop them at all. he’d never realized how horrible he’d been to alice until he’d listened to that small portion of her song; hearing the raw emotion in her voice, & now, seeing her sobbing in her dressing room as if she were completely alone.  

         ‘ i heard your song. ’ axel stated, his hands wiping his face, his gaze on the wall in front of him as he sat on the sofa against the left side of the room.

   her heart sank at the four words that left his lips, and the thought of losing him caused the fear stricken girl to rush to his side. one hand resting on his arm and the other on his knee. “oh i didn’t mean any of that, you know how i get when i’m emotional. i’m even worse when i don’t get my way. don’t...— don’t pay no mind to that. i’m okay.” she nodded putting on her best facade as she tried to get him to look at her.

   but somewhere within her she had forgotten axel knew her in and out; better than anyone she’d ever met before. the only way he wouldn’t be able to pick up the fact that she was lying was if he wanted to believe her lie.

nirvana had surprisingly been in a good place since she’d reconciled with raine, at first it was a hard situation for her to consider putting herself in but once she’d spoken to him – heck, even looked at him – she knew that she couldn’t turn away. things had changed in both of their lives & nirvana knew better than to turn down the opportunity to turn over a new leaf & explore the new possibilities that could come with beginning a new relationship with raine. they had to begin again, & in some ways it was the best, yet most frustrating thing in the entire world. 

the blonde was in her bedroom, she’d finished getting ready for the day as she’d gotten up a lot later than raine had this morning & she was immediately full of bliss when she’d heard his voice & his footsteps in the hall. ‘ hmm, i don’t know you are pretty crazy if i do say so myself. ’ looking up, she’d blushed & smiled bashfully as raine held up the bouquet for her to see, her hands reaching out to take them before taking a deep inhale of their beautiful scent. ‘ they’re beautiful, raine, thank you.. ’

as he’d bent down, nirvana looked down at him with a slightly nervous twang in her stomach that was also laced with such excitement that she could hardly contain herself. the bouquet in one hand, the other resting atop of once of his hands, nirvana smiled uncontrollably as she listened to his proposition. ‘ i would absolutely love to… ’

   though apart of him knew she would say yes, there was still that flutter in his heart and a flip in his stomach to hear her say she’d like to be his once more. leaning up her placed a kiss to her lips through his grin before pulling the box from his pocket. he began to open it eagerly before stopping short, and giving her a playful look of suspicion. “you’re not just saying that to get your hands on this here expensive bracelet are you? because that wouldn’t be very fair to me don’t you think?”

   before she could answer he cracked giving the girl a quick wink before fully removing the diamond studded wrist wear from its box. carefully he picked up her hand and placed the jewelry around her wrist and clasping it shut with a quick peck to the back of her hand. “you’ve made me a very happy man today, nirvana taylor.”

      things  between  axel  &  alice  had  never  been  the  same  since  he’d  delved  further  into  his  criminal  lifestyle.  they  had  broken  up  for  an  extended  period  &  the  damaged  male  had  thrown  himself  into  the  deep  end  of  the  scale,  with  him  joining  the  sons  of  anarchy  &  permanently  threw  his  life  down  the  drain.  he’d  been  arrested  for  assault  &  again  for  weapon  related  charges;  he’d  served  a  year  all  together  &  still,  he  was  back  serving  the  club.  the  pair  hadn’t  been  back  together  for  a  long  period  of  time,  but  things  seemed  to  be   worse  than  they  ever  were. 

      he’d  come  to  surprise  her  at  her performance,  but  he  soon  realized  that  it  was a  grave  mistake.  the  lyrics  of  her  original  song  were  hard-hitting;  to  the  point  where  it  was  written  about  him.  axel,  despite  having  a  tough  exterior,  had  a  large  soft  spot  for  alice  &  that  was  why  he’d  hardly  made  it  to  the  second  verse  before  having  to retreat  to  her  dressing  room  backstage,  his  head  buried  in  his  hands.

    he  never  realised  how  bad  he  had  let  things  get.

   alice had always made a point to keep her personal life personal, but after having yet another argument with the one she loved desperately she felt as though she had get her confusion and her anger out somehow. and that somehow just happened to be to perform a song she wrote about the him in the confinements in her home on another lonely night without him. with the security of believing he wouldn’t be showing up tonight she poured her heart and soul into this one song, but once it was over she didn’t feel any better.

   with no explanation or acknowledgment for the crowd’s praise, she quickly ran off the stage in tears fumbling with the door knob before forcing it open and slamming it shut. her head rested on the door as she tried to control her breathing that only came out in pants and sobs. slowly she turned around fully ready to slide down the solid surface and cry when her eyes fell on his stature.

   instantly she perked up and wiped the tears from her eyes as surprised washed over. “axel.. i didn’t know you were coming tonight.” she comments taking a careful step towards him.

  ethan was adamant about keeping his footsteps quiet as he eased his way in nirvana’s home. the pair had been on surprisingly good terms throughout, what he thought as, their trial period; honestly he thought she’d put him out by now. it wasn’t always as easy as it used to be, what with the pair having to rediscover each other once again, but there were still elements about them being together that made the hard times worth it. which is what brought him to her home today.

   with flowers tucked behind his back, a tiny blue box tucked into his vest pocket, and an uncontrollable grin on his face he made his way up the steps. “i hope you’re decent, babe. leaving the door unlocked like that i could be some kind of psycho walking in here to do with you as i please.” he taunted as he rounded into her doorway. “but i think i’ll settle for giving you some pretty flowers and a proposition.” as the words left his lips he lifted the bouquet from behind his back and put them in full view for her to see.

   taking slow strides forward he found himself at the edge of her bed holding the flowers out for her taking. “now i come not only bearing flowers, and the potential act of reckless sex followed by kind cuddles; there is also another little gift in my pocket for you if you are to say yes to what i’m about to ask you.” he begins as his knees bend, lowering him to level with her, his hands resting on her knees.

   “i know we’ve been through our fair share of heartbreaks and fuck ups, and i know i hurt you. really badly. and i’m so happy you forgave me for that, so now i’d like us to officially put all the bad shit behind us. i want today to mark our official anniversary of when we decide to begin again.. so. nirvana taylor, will you be my girlfriend? again.”
