𝐇𝐄  𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓  𝐇𝐄  was  alone  with  his  beer  when  the  girl  spoke.  He  wasn’t  drunk  –  tipsy  was  more  like  it  and  Leo  raised  a  brow.  Leaned  up  against  the  nearby  surface,  he  looked  like  a  cool  boy.  His  dark  hair  messed  up  as  per  usual,  shirt  wrinkled  and  washed  jeans.  To  anyone,  he  looked  like  a  dreamboat.  But  he  stank  of  booze  and  puke.  “Do  you  talk  to  yourself  like  this  all  the  time?”  The  question  flipped  out  of  his  mouth  as  though  he  didn’t  hear  a  single  word  that  came  from  her  lips.  However,  what  he  said  next  would  say  otherwise:  “Things  happen  so  that  we  can  enjoy  the  little  things  here  and  now.  It’s  saying  that  we  work  too  hard  or  something.”

chocolate irises searched masculine features, the intense need of wanting to see the same silent fear she had spread across his features eating at her flesh. an dry and unfamiliar laugh falling from her lips and into the air around them. “ i .. yeah.. it’s a weird habit of mine i guess ?? ” she told him, head shaking the smallest bit. “ my dad use to say it’s because i don’t know how to stop talking..” juno smiled forcefully. her tapping fingers coming to an stop as she moved ever so slightly, nose scrunching up at the oder that forced its way through the air. “ do you always smell this bad ? ” she asked, the comment meant to be more playful the anything, but her tone falling flat. she was never the one to judge on how another decided to cope with their own situations, and truthfully she wouldn’t mind about five shots herself right about now. “ you think.. this is something that’s suppose to be enjoyed ?? ” she questioned, eyebrows furrowing. “ like some kind of gift ? ” she asked before another dry laugh left her lips. “ that’s .. that’s definitely a optimistic way to view things .. a little bizarre but definitely optimistic . ”

she sat submerged in an self inflicted darkness ,  deep breaths falling from nostrils as distant chatter ( as distant chaos ) danced in her ears .. acrylic nails tapped softly, anxiously on the back of her phone . the very phone that only twenty minutes earlier had been almost drained from calling her fathers number over and over and over again. her stomach turned , and her head pounded with questions and theories.. but even with the worry and confusion that had attached itself onto her skin, the brunette couldn’t fight the laughter that had taken control. her brown orbs fluttering open, as brown locks moved as she shook her head . ‘ this .. ‘ she spoke, hand gesturing towards the others who seem to run around like chickens without heads , ‘ this is deadass insane . ‘ she finished, teeth capturing plump lips for just a moment . ‘ i just like ?? i keep waiting for a camera crew to pop out of somewhere and laugh in our faces ? ‘ she thought out loud . ‘ because this is just .. too much ? like how does this even happen ? ‘

66. your future: career? 

despite her mother abandoning her, she was abandoned in the arms of a father, who loved her, who wanted her, and who felt just as attached to her as she was to him. she got an happy ending, something that rarely happens to kids that have similar faiths as juno and her brother. instead, they end up in the foster system where they are abused, neglected, deemed unwanted and unloveable. juno hopes to be the light in those children lives, she hopes to be the person that recuses them and finds them their very own ‘ dad ‘. social work is a thankless job, even her dad reminded her of that .. but its the only thing she can thing of doing and hopes her legs will carry her there. 

97. if you could go back in time, how far would you go?

juno would without hesitation revisit the day her mom decided she no longer wanted to care for her children, not to say goodbye one last time or even just see her one last time .. she would simply ask why. why would she place an emptiness within side the very own babies she carried for nine months. why would she hurt them? betray them? leave them.

6. does your muse believe in an afterlife? 

this answer seems to only be an yes because of the fact that death, and what comes after death was something that juno stood face to face with at an young age, the summer before her mother left her; she use to spend her summer evenings with her toes dipped in the lake, as her old and sweet neighbor fished. and she did just that up until the very last week of august, which is strange considering the last week of august her neighbor had been found dead in his own home, and had been dead for a month. she cant tell you specifics, but she can confirm that when you are dead, you’re not just dead. 

10. does your muse have nightmares? what about?

juno has nightmares .. in fact, juno’s mother haunts her dreams, in a way that old memories haunts hearts .. her nightmares, they always begin with soft giggles filling the air .. smiles placed on plump lips . warm embraces dancing on her skin . but despite the beauty in that, it never stays beautiful. her mother, and her kind eyes start to go dull.. her pearly whites start to rot. her glowly skins starts to melt, and before you can even wrap your head around the image, needles start to appear in her mothers flesh. the dream always ending with the two along with her brother in the car as her mother screams ‘ i dont love you, i dont love you ‘ over and over again .. her hand steers left in an instance, and blue is all you can see before juno wakes up .. out of breath, sweating, and sad.

how much pain can your muse withstand? for how long?

physically, juno is no super women. sticks and stones definitely do break her bones, and that pain is not something she tolerates well. paper cuts, bruises, the nail pain when you bang your acrylic nail too hard are feelings she’ll dramatically cry out from, but they are tolerable. after all, she grew up with her brother and definitely knows how to take a hit.. but theres a level of course, and broken arms, legs, ribs, or whatever the case may be is not something she deals with well. emotionally though? put her through hell and i promise you, she’ll still come out on top. her mama might of raised her for a few years and then dipped, but her mama definitely did not raise no bitch.

8. does your muse tend to bottle things up?

emotions and the vulnerability that comes with them, has always felt and remains to feel like keeping your head above violent waters. to spill those feelings, has such a similar feeling to water in her lungs. its painful, uncomfortable, and fearful. and so, in simpler terms bottling her feelings up is not something that is out of habit for juno. but it is something that she day after day conquers, especially with ones she keeps close to her heart. it may take her a minute, but eventually those feelings will be released; the manner of those feelings really do depend. 

18. does your muse think they’re capable of changing? do they even want to?

some traits latch onto you, and imprint themselves into everything you are and everything you will ever be; so when changing is mentioned, i think juno knows deep down that some parts of her she will never be able to change. no matter how much she tries. but in some sense, she would like to think she’s capable of changing. that being she would like to be the best version of herself you know? and, i think so too.
