Thanks to all of you, we raised $71,709 for the American Immigration Council!
We could not be more proud of this fandom. Thank you so much for being a part of this, whether you donated crafts, bid on items, or spent the last few weeks cheering everybody on. We were only able to do this because of you.
So what's next?
Making your donation: You should have already received an email 32Auctions with the subject "The online auction has ended." This email includes your invoice and instructions on how to make your donation. Please make sure to use the donation link included in the email and also provide your invoice number to make it easier for us to match your donation. The absolute deadline to do this is Tuesday, March 31, but the sooner you're able to complete your donation, the faster we'll be able to get your items to you! And remember, you can always round your donation up to maximize our impact for AIC.
Updating your shipping address: Please make sure you have updated your mailing address in 32A. Even if you've added it for our previous events, you will need to confirm it again! You can do this by clicking the link to view your invoice in your email, then navigating to the address block.
If you won a commission: We will give your contact information to your crafter so they can reach out to you to get started. Keep an eye on your email!
If you're a crafter: You will be getting an email from us shortly with your next steps for fulfillment. If you have any questions, please reply to that message.
Coordinating all of this will take the mods about a week, so please be patient! If you have any questions, reach out to us at [email protected].
Thanks again! Because of all of you, we were able to do something truly incredible. Long may we roam!
It's been about two weeks since the 2026 Fandom Market closed, so we wanted to provide a status update to the crew:
Thanks to your generosity, we have officially raised $77,435 for the American Immigration Council! That's more than double our original goal. We are so grateful and proud of this fandom for showing what's possible when a group of dedicated individuals come together to do good. We've also included a message we've received from AIC's executive director below the cut — we hope you read it and recognize the impact all your hard work has had!
And for those keeping track at home, that means between the three fundraisers we've held in the past 14 months, we have raised more than $225,000 for important causes. Art can change the world!
We do still have a handful of stragglers who need to pay. We've emailed all of those folks; if you're one of them, please confirm your donation ASAP so we can remove you from the Bag of Shame! If you have not made your donation by April 12, you will forfeit your wins.
Shipments are already making their way around the world! Keep an eye on your mailbox — you never know when some fabulous booty will appear!
Finally, an important reminder that if you are in the US and need financial assistance to ship your crafts, please submit this form and we will send you a prepaid label. This will allow us to ensure you are getting the best possible rate. We are so grateful for the money you raised for our shipping fund and we want to make sure we are being respectful of our donors by being responsible with how we use those funds.
Any questions? Confusion? Concerns? Reach out to us at [email protected]!
Thank you so much to everyone at Fandom Craft Market for your support of the American Immigration Council! Raising more than $70,000 is an incredible achievement. The time you’ve put into all your crafts — from crochet to pottery, and everything in between — shows that you pour care and intention into your art. It’s clear you extend that same level of care to the communities you stand with, and we’re honored to be part of your advocacy.
Because of your dedication and others standing alongside you, the Council can continue providing pro bono legal services to thousands of people unjustly detained by ICE who would otherwise face the system alone. Through our Immigration Justice Campaign, we’re working to ensure that more individuals in detention have access to attorneys — something that can make the difference between remaining in the United States or being deported to danger.
Beyond the courtroom, your impact reaches people across the country. The Council works in over 100 communities across more than 40 states, bringing together local leaders, organizers, and advocates to push back against harmful policies and build more welcoming communities.
Your generosity makes all of this — and more — possible. We are deeply grateful for your partnership, your artistry, and the powerful community you’ve built in support of immigrant justice.
Today is the LAST DAY of the Fandom Craft Market benefiting the American Immigration Council. The auction will close at 5PM Boston time (go here to see what time that is in your time zone, or use your favorite time zone converter).
The last day/hours/minutes get intense, so be sure to hydrate, stretch your bidding finger, and lock in on the items you want most.
Still perusing the wares? Feeling overwhelmed by all the fabulous booty and worried you may have missed a fabulous treasure? Here are some tips:
Play around with the sorting categories. Sort price from low to high, then high to low. Go to a random page number instead of starting from the beginning. Filter by item categories. Try something different!
Search for random words. Cursed suit. Octopus. Candle. Pink. Bracelet. Star. You can plug in nearly any word and find items that fit that way. Can't think of a word? Try a random number between 1001 - 1903 and see what pops up!
Check out the #FandomMarket tag on bsky. People are sharing items they made and items they love. There are also a lot of great threads if you're looking to follow a theme. This fantastic human even made a masterlist of all their extremely themed threads here. Looking for traditional art? Items focused on Ed and Stede? Fandom in-jokes? Anti-authoritarian/pro-community themes? Chances are there's a thread for you.
Remember, this is all about raising money to support AIC's critical work. We've already smashed our original goal of $30K, and we'd love to hit our new goal of $75K. All of this is only possible because of all your support, enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity, so once again, THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE WITH US!
We are offering five Our Flag Means Death University diplomas signed by the one and only David Jenkins @davidjenks. Place your bids, or take your chance on the raffle! Raffle tickets are $3 each and the lucky name will be drawn after the conclusion of the craft fair.
A big congratulations and thank you to all of you for helping us reach our second goal of raising $50,000 for the American Immigration Council in less than one week! We've been so incredibly moved seeing what's possible when the whole crew comes together to support an important cause. It really is about belonging to something.
And speaking of, we have a brand new exciting auction item that just went up today! Con O'Neill has graciously offered to reprise his offering from the last craft fair, and will record a custom audio message for one lucky winner. You can place your bids here.
There's still plenty of time to get your bids in! We know there's a LOT on the site — even the mods have been discovering new items! — so we suggest using the item categories to narrow down your searches. Filtering for items with no bids or sorting items by price are also great ways to find more budget-friendly items. See everything available here.
Thanks again, crew! We wouldn't want to sail this sea with anyone but you!
We are now live with our second drop of items! Check them out here!
Unfortunately 32Auctions does not allow us to filter out for items just added today, but perhaps this real, authentic treasure map will help you find your way around all the riches! The TALENT on this ship!
As of now, there are still a bunch of Buy It Nows still available, as well as a number of items without any bids. Remember you can also sort items by price to find ones that may be in your budget.
Also, because we blew past our initial goal of raising $30K to support American Immigration Council's important work, we raised it to $50K! This is only possible because of all of your support, and we're so extremely grateful for you.
More surprises in store, but for now... time for some bidding wars!
Because in the first 24 hours of the Fandom Craft Market being open, we already smashed our goal and raised more than $30,000 for the American Immigration Council!
This is incredible, and we could not have done it without all of you. Whether you were crafting, bidding, or cheering everybody on, you played a critical part in the success of this auction.
But we're not done yet!
Mark your calendars! We're dropping nearly 400 more items on Monday, March 9 at 10AM Boston time. (Go here to see what time that is for you, or use your favorite time zone converter.) There will be loads of new items as well as restocks of some Buy It Nows that have already sold out.
A bit overwhelmed? Check out the #fandommarket tag on Bsky. People are sharing helpful threads of items to check out, such as some lower priced items (at least at time of sharing!), TealOranges items, and some items that just deserve a bit more love. We're sure more threads and highlights will appear over the weekend!
Trying to stick to a budget but also itching to push some buttons? Remember that on 32A you can sort items from low to high, or use the Items Category feature to filter for items with no bids. That should help you find some nice options!
...no, but REALLY trying to stick to your budget? We get it. Hype your crafts. Hype other people's crafts. Share general energy and excitement and remember what it's all about: the crucial work of ensuring the American immigration system is more just.
Thank you all so much for everything. We still have about two more weeks to go, and a few fun surprises in store, and we can't wait to once again show what amazing things this fandom can accomplish.
We are thrilled to announce donations from Gypsy Taylor, the costumer designer for Season 2 of Our Flag Means Death, and Hayley Egan, who was in charge of creating the famous MerStede tail!
We have five prints of the concept art for the six members of the Kraken-era Revenge crew signed by Gypsy up for auction here.
Then from Hayley, we have two prints of the original plans and notes for the actual construction of the MerStede tails! They are printed on texture embossed card and hand signed. You can find those here.
We're so lucky to have the BEST cast and crew to go along with the very best fans.
Continue to check out all the fabulous booty we're hawking over on 32Auctions, and get excited for the second drop on Monday, March 9!

With just about 45 minutes to go before the auction opens, I am excited to introduce our sponsored nonprofit: the American Immigration Council. They work nationally and support local, on-the-ground leaders working to make the American immigration system more just.
From their website:
We serve thousands of individuals in immigration detention centers. Through the Immigration Justice Campaign, our initiative with the American Immigration Lawyers Association, our goal is to increase access to legal counsel.
We use the courts to demand a fair process for immigrants. The Council works to achieve justice and fairness for immigrants under the law. The Council is highly respected for its willingness and ability to bring cutting-edge lawsuits.
We use the facts to educate the public on the important and enduring contributions that immigrants make to America. The Council is a national leader in challenging the myths and misinformation that too often dominate the political and public debate around immigration.
We use communications strategies to engage hearts and minds on the issue of immigration. We employ audience-centered communication strategies and community engagement to effect the way people think about and act toward immigrants and immigration.
We use cultural exchange to connect American businesses with the global market of ideas and innovation. The Council sponsors interns and trainees for programs that secure the prosperity and cultural richness of a globally engaged society. Our experts provide direct support and training to participants, host communities, and attorneys involved in the Exchange Visitor Program.
You can learn more about them in this video.
In addition to supporting the auction, you can donate directly to support AIC's critical work here.
The OFMD Fandom Craft Market is officially open for previewing!
We are blown away by your talent, creativity, and generosity in submitting 900+ crafts! (As Stede Bonnet would say: Did you mean to do that??)
To make everything a little easier to manage, and to allow all items their well-deserved time in the spotlight, we’ve dropped 600 items for the first round, and the remaining items will go live on March 9 (with a few more held for later!). You can check out those listings before the auction officially goes live here.
But we know that’s still a WHOLE LOT to navigate, and we want to make sure you’re able to find exactly what you’re looking for, so we created this guide to help you get started!
Create a 32Auctions account. First step’s easy enough. Just go to www.32auctions.com, click “login” in the upper right corner, and then follow the steps to create your account. If this isn’t your first time aboard the ship and you’ve participated in our other fundraising events, your old account will still work.
Check out this fabulous booty we’re hawking! You can view all the items available at www.32auctions.com/fandommarket. We’ll rotate through ten “featured items” at the top of the page, but otherwise you can simply select to View All, and then use the Sort By filter in the top left to sort all items by current selling price, most recent bids, item name, or item number.
…that’s a lot of booty. We know! We recommend using the Item Categories filter near the top center of the page. We’ve assigned categories for every item in the craft fair, such as Clothing & Accessories, Home Goods & Pet Gear, and Needlework & Fiber Arts. Only interested in items that are specifically about Our Flag Means Death? Select the “Our Flag Means Death” category here to narrow it down. Or try simply using the main search bar and typing in some words you frequently associate with the show like “rosy maple moth,” “robe,” or “whale” to see what surprises pop up.
Have a tight budget, or not up for a bidding war? In the Items Category filter, select Buy It Now. These are items that will not be going up for auction, but will be sold at a flat rate. While there are multiples of many of these items, historically Buy It Now items have gone fairly quickly, so we’d recommend checking those out early.
I love everything about you. Find an item that you love and want to bid on? Want to track the items that you donated? Just want to quickly jump to an item to see how fierce the bidding war is? Add the item to your Watch List by either clicking the heart icon on the photo image on the main page, or on the right hand side of the individual item listing. Then you can quickly navigate to your Watch List by hitting the heart icon at the top of the page, or clicking the Item Categories filter and selecting My Watchlist.
TAKE MY MONEY! The American Immigration Council will gladly take your money… AFTER the craft fair closes at 11:45 EST on Saturday, March 21. (Need to know when that is in your time zone? Click here, or use your favorite time zone conversion service.) After the auction closes, you will receive an invoice from 32Auctions, along with a direct link to make your donation so it gets counted as part of our fundraiser.
TAKE EVEN MORE MONEY! You can absolutely donate more than your invoiced amount to AIC; you just have to donate at least your invoiced amount in order to receive your items. (You are also welcome to donate to our fund that covers shipping expenses and 32A administrative fees at our Ko-fi.)
TAKE MY MONEY RIGHT NOW! We appreciate the spirit, but even if you only purchased Buy It Now items, we ask that you hold off on donating until the event is over. The craft fair requires a massive amount of coordination, and this will make it easier to ensure everything is processed accurately.
I WON! NOW WHAT?! We’ll provide more details once we get closer to the fundraiser closing, but in short, you’ll just need to pay your invoice amount to AIC and update your shipping address in 32A so we can make sure we can get your items to you. (We know many of you will want to do this early so you don’t forget, but unfortunately 32A does not allow you to do this until you’ve purchased an item. Don’t worry; we’ll remind you.) If you won a commission, we will connect you with your crafter in the days following the auction closing so you can get started.

Auction item update! We are at 875ish items. The deadline to submit is noon Boston time (Eastern Standard Time) on March 3 - you have almost exactly two days left to submit. Unless you have already talked to one of the team, that deadline means both form submission AND photos.
If you haven't submitted a PHOTO yet, your item will definitely be after the first drop. Even if you have, it might wind up in the second drop anyway - this is essentially a random choice the team is making because of how many items have been submitted.
We are working hard to close out the submission portion of the auction. Once the auction goes live on March 5, we'll be thrilled to grant you entry!
We're SO excited that the OFMD Fandom Craft Market is opening soon! We already have more than FIVE HUNDRED submissions and we can't wait for you to see them all. The talent on this ship!
Still want to sign up? You have until Tuesday, March 3! Check out the guidelines here and then submit the form. Reach out to us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Signed up but maybe forgetting something? Make sure you've also submitted your photos! We have a thread on how you can get the perfect shot here.
Need to do some planning for your wallet? Mark your calendars for the opening of the auction on Thursday, March 5. It will run through Saturday, March 21. Pace yourselves! We have some surprises in store, and as they say, all's fair in love and craft fairs.
Just want to remember what it's all about? Be sure to read up about our beneficiary, the American Immigration Council (AIC), a phenomenal organization that provides legal representation to thousands of people detained by ICE, as well as works legislatively and through the courts to challenge our broken immigration system. They work in 40 states to help local leaders and communities fight back.
Thank you for all your generosity, excitement, and creativity! We could not do this without you.
HEY GUYS i would really love if any of you crafty motherfuckers would donate crafts to our craft market raising funds for the American Immigration Council!!
Doesn't have to be OFMD related, can just be nautical, pirate-y, or Generally Beautiful!! Make some art and make a difference!!
