What a meaningless and banal question. “How badly are they treating me? Hah.” He laughed the question off, rolling his eyes at what she seems to be implying. Well, unfortunately for her, he’d have to burst that bubble.  “Since you’re an F-Tier in all regards- Especially Intelligence- I’ll have to simply fill you in,” He begins, yet again throwing in another jab towards her. Nazo shrugged- It was so hard dealing with idiots, but, alas, he knew he’d have to do so some day. “G.U.N. provided me with all the basic amenities. A bed to sleep on, some books to read, and, of course, some entertainment. Paddleball, Kendama, Cup-and-Ball. All the basics a Mobian- Even you- Need to live.” The Silvery Hedgehog explains, seeming to find no problem in what he described. “And, of course, they feed me every friday. One glass of water and a steak with mashed potatoes. Generous of them, really.” He adds on, making sure to make G.U.N. sound as equitable as possible… Even if his description only kept digging a deeper and deeper hole for him.  “As for how long… Ahh, about 18 years? G.U.N. Does well to inform me of every year that has passed in my 20-by-20 foot concrete room.” The Artificial Mobian finally answers her second question, before shaking his head slightly.  “Does that answer all of your questions, then?” 

Basics? BASICS? Everything listed off was the bare MINIMUM that a Mobian needed to live! This poor sap was living more like a pet than an intelligent being beneath G.U.N, and that’s probably all he’s ever known! Can it even be considered brainwashing in these circumstances? Maybe... kind of? Well⸻ who cares! Speaking so casually about this has her on high alert, so she quickly looks left &&. right. 

❝   No! Not at all! That just leaves me with MORE questions! None of that is good, Nazo!    ❞

The pink hedgehog points a finger back towards her house with a sense of urgency / pleading in her expression. He made it clear that he has a low opinion of her, but she still wants to try and convince him. 

❝   Look, let me make you lunch &&. we can talk a bit more about it. I’m not sure what all G.U.N taught you, but that ISN’T living. Criminals in their jails get shown more kindness than that!    ❞

" Smash or pass, Angel -- with yers truly. " Amy, just punch him in the mouth. Wipe that stupid smug grin off his face.

Punching him in the mouth sounds extremely tempting right about now⸻ The glass of lemonade in the hedgehog's hand nearly slips out of her gloved grip. Was he serious? At the least he asked it in the comfort of their shared home but come on! That's embarrassing to the max!

If only she wasn't held to an expectation of honesty. She'd lie just to see him squirm. Oh well.

❝ Do you really need to ask? The answer is obviously smash. ❞

Her expression is serene / Her tone is shy, but the pink-furred girl is completely prepared to knock him into next week with her hammer if he tries to say anything funny.

“Work for G.U.N.?” Nazo asked, seeming amused by the question.

“I don’t work for G.U.N.- I was made by G.U.N.! To be the perfect Artificial Mobian Weapon! My name is Nazo the Hedgehog, the S+-Tier Organism!” Though Nazo’s declaration of his name was grandiose, his actual explanation of what his relation to G.U.N. is was incredibly casually tossed out. As if that wasn’t the most important part of what he said! With a scoff, he crossed his arms. “But, as for your offer- Unless you are one of my targets, my perfect score is going to get ruined regardless.” Nazo complains, a vein popping on his forehead before he raises his chin towards the pink hedgehog.  “Not that you’d get it, F-Tier Nuisance. If you’re not Perfect, then you’re useless! What is the point of existing if not reaching, attaining and maintaining perfection?!” The Silvery Hedgehog philosophizes, shaking his head. Honestly, so many of the Mobians he’s seen sicken him. Living day by day, doing nothing to improve, to work towards perfection; What a waste of perfectly good talent. 

Made by G.U.N. The perfect artificial mobian weapon. It’s adding up &&. the numbers aren’t painting a pretty picture. There were frightening similarities here  that turn concern into fear for the silver-furred hedgehog’s well-being. The bruises &&. bloody scrapes from her fall have long since been forgotten so that she can sink all her attention into him.

❝  Alright, back-up a second buster. Rewind.    ❞

Again with calling her F-Tier, but now she’s a nuisance on top of being annoying? She’ll let the rudeness slide for now because she’s too kind for her own good but it definitely stings / it reminds her too much of the insults Sonic would throw her way when they were little kids. 

❝  You were made by G.U.N? How badly are they treating you? Actually, how long have you even existed?    ❞

Kit merely nodded far too busy enjoying the snow cone Surge had bought for them, wasn’t too often that the duo got to sneak out together. Better than being bogged down with countless testing by Starline.

But neither Surge or Kit expected what happened next.

“!” Hearing someone call out to the Blue Blur caused the tenrec and fennec to tease quickly shifting to see… a pink hedgehog? Had she… mistaken Surge for Sonic?

“Not Sonic, that’s for damn sure.” She scoffed. “Think you need glasses, toots. Name’s Surge, who are you?”

It’s been a good while since she’s made a mistake like this,  let alone done it this severely. An argument couldn’t even be made that the tenrec &&. sonic share any visible physical similarity, but... they “feel” nearly the same. What does that mean? Only Amy really knows.

The pink girl’s ears flatten to her head / Entirely apologetic, she looks between Surge &&. the little fennec then takes another step back. 

❝ Geez this is so embarrassing  ⸻ I am SO sorry! Sonic’s a good friend of mine that I barely get to see, so I sort of jumped the gun there out of excitement...  ❞

A poor excuse that can easily be dismantled by the claim that she’s colorblind. She isn’t, but she acts more on impulse than rationality when those she’s close to are involved. 

❝ My name’s Amy Rose ⸻ it’s, um, nice to meet you Surge. Your friend, too.❞

The heroine manages a weak smile Kitsunami’s way. Hopefully she didn’t ruin their good day.

It was starting to become clear to the Pink Hedgehog that Nazo didn’t exactly have a lot of patience. ‘What was I supposed to do?’ Well, clearly, if you work around better and more competent mobians, he mused to himself internally, then you should be able to sense my Chaos Powers. Nazo rolled his eyes. There was no reasoning with an idiot. “Yes, I’m fine. I wouldn’t be S-Tier if a simple tumble down a hill could put me out of commission. Unlike some F-Tier Mobians.” It was obvious who that last comment was aimed towards. “As for what you were supposed to do- Well, if you were perhaps a more competent Hedgehog, then perhaps you would’ve sensed Chaos Control. But, alas, it seems what you lack in competency, you make up for in A-Tier Annoyance.” Once again, Nazo began to rant, before shaking his head.  “Now G.U.N. will take off points from my record. Do you understand that? I got hurt!” The Silvery Hedgehog turns his back towards Amy, arms raised towards the sky for some sort of understanding, some sort of almighty power to answer him! But, alas. Only silence awaited him. “Hrmph. At least taking a tumble isn’t as bad as breaking my arms again. Last time I did that, they took off 3000 points off my score- 3000 points, can you even believe that?! I was reduced to an A-Tier! A-Tier! That’s practically worthless!” And, there he goes, rambling about nothing.

No doubt about it, this guy was Upset with a capital U. Good going on this one Amy, not that it was entirely her fault.  At first she fumbles with her words. Does she be submissive &&. warble her apologies in hopes they’ll lighten up / Does she match their tone with sass &&. walk away from the situation altogether? It’s hard for her to say &&. harder for her to understand the information he fed her. The only thing that really stuck out was...

❝   You work for G.U.N?    ❞ That is kinda concerning. Is G.U.N the reason he showed up here? Amy has reservations about the organization as a whole &&. frankly fears them at times. On a more positive note, maybe this was a friend of Shadow or Rouge? It was not like she did anything to get on G.U.N’s bad side, so there’s nothing to worry about... right?

❝   Look, i’m really sorry... can I make it up to you somehow? Are those ‘points’ really that important?    ❞

She’s choosing not to comment on the thought of him breaking both his arms but the look of genuine concern in her eyes is obvious. Was this guy okay?

A cut off cry was all Nazo could get out before the Pink Blur crashed- Full force, might he add- Directly into him, sending them both flying down the hill. Well, more like she tumbled down the hill. He had the pleasant feeling of flying down and crashing right atop his head before rolling a few feet.

Of course, it was going to take a little bit more than that to actually knock him out, but damned if it didn’t hurt. Any scrapes or bruises he had started to heal almost instantaneously, before he gave a quick scowl.  “Are you blind woman!?” He yelled out brushing himself of any loose grass and shaking his quills out of any dirt. Marching right up to the fallen Hedgehog, he quickly picks her up and makes sure she stands up.  “Honestly! I was being generous when I called you a ‘D-Tier Fighter,’ but this little act you put me through has earned you a nice place in my ‘F-Tier!’” Nazo quickly rants. How humiliated he was, having been bowled over by some scared girl while he had the power of chaos on his side! G.U.N. is definitely going to knock some scores off his points on this mission…!

This was more than humiliating, this was a direct attack on his perfect score! She had to have known somehow, right!? There was no possible way she couldn’t have known.

Regenerative capabilities were a blessing to be envious of  ⸻ the pinkette lacks those kinds of powers &&. it really shows. As he rants / While he scolds with a venomous tongue she lays there cheek to grass, mentally hyping herself up for the necessary move to a proper sitting position. Air is inhaled through her grit teeth / The girl winces from both the pain &&. his reprimand. Ouch.

❝    I’m sorry...     ❞ What in the heck was he even going on about? She was an F-Tier now? Had she offended him in some way by running? It was HIS stinking fault for sneaking up on her like that, so why is HE the one getting all up in arms!?! The nerve of some guys! Had she not felt guilty / were she not left to nurse scraped knees her own temper would have flared.  Instead, glossy green hues finally lift to meet his amber glare. ❝  You just came out of nowhere ⸻twice! What was I supposed to do?     ❞

Grass-stained gloves press against the earth to help herself stand. Muscles &&. bones protest, but the girl ignores their pleas.

The Artificial could only roll his eyes at the reaction. He supposed it was only normal for a D-Tier fighter like Amy to react in such a way, but still. Even this is a pitiable look for someone so purportedly strong to wield a hammer. But, alas. Crossing his arms over each other, Nazo began to build power, before- “CHAOS CONTROL!” He yelled out, before time began to slow around him. Feeling no need to rush, the Artificial Hedgehog simply took his time, gently walking up to Amy with a scoff. However, Chaos Control was starting to run out, so he simply positioned himself in front of her- A good few feet away- Before crossing his arms. “This is pathetic. And I thought all hedgehogs were supposed to-” Nazo began to realize that she wasn’t stopping. She was not stopping, oh my god she is barreling right towards him.

if  she  were  attuned  to  such  a  comment   /    had  it  been  spoken  aloud,  the  label  of  “D-TIER  FIGHTER”  would  of  been  something  she’d  of  taken  offense  to.  the  pink  hedgehog  has  worked  her  TAIL  off  to  go  from  just-another-girl  to  kickass-girlboss,  so  D-TIER  is  one  hell  of  an  insult!  

the  words  spoken  fall  on  deaf  ears.  her  eyes  are  tightly  closed   /    his  new  position  goes  unnoticed.  she  continues  her  run  at  full  speed  heading  nowhere  in  particular,  just  desperate  to  get  away!

❝    KYAA--!    ❞

imagine  the  hedgehog’s  surprise  when  she  crashes  full - force  into  another  body,  sending  the  both  of  them  barreling  over  the  grass  &&.  down  a  small  hill.  that’s  gotta  hurt.
