EMMA MYERS AS PIPPA FITZ-AMOBI A Good Girl's Guide to Murder | Offical Trailer | Netflix
"Depends you going to pay?" He mocked playfully as he reached over the bar to get another glass and pushed the bottle towards. "You have to pay next time," he told her, right now, they were just going to grieve and go from there.
"I would've paid for this one, you dork." Veronica laughed, nudging her brother with her shoulder as she took the drink. "Thank you." She said, holding her bottle up to cheers. It didn't do much to fix things, but it helped her to feel better to feel like she could just grieve with her brother instead of holding it together. "To uncle Matt." She said softly, a sad smile on her lips.

With the past month, Caroline had been doing her best to be strong and not let her emotions get the better of her so she did what she did best and kept herself busy. She was bringing some boxes out to her car when she looked up to the person. ❝ What? ❞
"Oh, nothing, I just got here. I brought muffins." Veronica said, vaguely lifting the box in her hands. It wasn't much, she was definitely overstocking her parents' fridge, so naturally her aunt was the next stop. She looked at the boxes scattering the porch and then back to Caroline. "Do you want some help?"
Location: Mystic Falls Grill
"Damn, is this place full," Ace commented, looking around the Grill. There were most people rolling into town by the day and anyone that had been here in his mother's generation knew the Grill was the place to go. Not that that was a positive thought today, afterall he knew why they were all coming. One of their own had been killed. He cracked a drink and moved to sit next to the bar, taking a sip. "Let's do discounted drinks for the next few days."

Matt was dead. It had stirred a morbid curiosity in Veronica's mind, but more than that. He was like family, and suddenly he was gone, and she wasn't grieving as much as her mom but it was still tough. She didn't usually like crowds, but people were mourning and it was nice not to be alone. Plus, it gave her a chance to see her brother. "Can I get one of those?" She asked, nodding to the drink in his hand.

It was impossible not to let her emotions get the better of her. Elena had been looking at a photo of her and matt from high school, feeling a tear slightly shed down her cheek. It was a mix of sadness but also fear of what was coming next? How was she supposed to save and protect her family now?
"Mommy, I'm home!" Veronica shouted as she knocked the front door shut with her hip, balancing the bags of food in her arms. Food during grief was a cliche, but it helped her feel like she was doing something to help her mom, other than simply acting like a barnacle she couldn't get rid of. "I brought lunch." She called, balancing the bags as she set them down on the counter, careful not to knock anything over.
kiara gerard.
❝ i see. good at least he’s been there ❞ she nodded, a brow raised ❝ can i tell you something? you will have to promise me to not laugh, okay? no matter what it is i am gonna tell ❞ she had kept it a secret for so long that she wasn’t sure how to tell, but wasn’t a big deal anymore. was five years ago, didn’t matter anything to her anymore, and was also before she had figured out her sexuality. between the age of twelve to sixteen she thought she was straight, then bisexual up until she was nineteen. took her a while to figure everything out, it wasn’t until she met her ex that all the pieces started to fall into the right places ❝ i can do. can i borrow your phone to call? barely no battery in mine, silly me didn’t think of taking the charger with me ❞
“Weren’t your uncles, too? I mean, I know you’ve got like a thousand more than I do, but.” Veronica’s tone was teasing as she shrugged. The dynamics of the Mikaelson family always seemed bizarre to her, but she wasn’t going to come right out and say that. “I make no such promises until I hear what it is, but I will do my best. Scout’s honor. What’s up?” She flashed a grin as she pulled out a piece of gum and unwrapped it. Even joking to the contrary, Ronnie still wouldn’t laugh. Not at anything Kiara had to say, at least not if it wasn’t embarrassing or something that was meant to be laughed at. With other people that wasn’t the case, but this was her best friend. “Sure,” she shrugged as she pulled her phone out of her pocket and unlocked it, turning it as she held it out. “One of these days, you’re gonna have to start keeping a charger in your car, Kie.”
kiara gerard.
❝ lucky you. i don’t know if my uncles know anything about cars, i do not dare to ask ❞ she chuckled, took out a bubble gum from one of her pockets ❝ you two seem to be close ❞ she shrugged. it had been something she was a little jealous at, but she didn’t like being jealous of her best friend’s life. her family were close too, of course, they just scared her a little. she chewed on the gum, before she took out the whole package ❝ do you want some? we could, it would be fun, but i’m not hundred percent certain if anyone have cameras anywhere. nah, it might be best to give it to professionals ❞
“I mean, not very. He was just usually around when I was a kid, so I figured out which buttons to press.” Sure, Ronnie had a relationship with Stefan that was entirely different than her parents but she always figured that was just the nature of being his only niece. “Have you met me? Of course I do.” She let out a small laugh as she shook her head and reached for a piece for herself. “Alright, alright, fine. We’ll follow the rules.” Ronnie sighed dramatically, a glint in her eyes showing she was mostly kidding. “Do you want to call for a tow or should I?”
kai parker.
❝I like to do things out of the box a little. Keeps people on their toes.❞ He mused about it. No one could ever really figure him out but just assumed he was psycho and overall the ‘worst’ person known to man kind. At this point now he just took it as a compliment because it beat always taking it and feeling hurt by the words of those who are supposed to love and care for you. He took the drink and picked up the umbrella, twirling it in his hands as he took a sip. ❝Delicious.❞
“No judgments here. We all have our things.” Sure, Veronica could have an opinion if she wanted to, but that was the thing - she didn’t want to. Even with people that had shady pasts with her parents. She didn’t actually care about any of that so long as it was in the past. “Good deal.” She nodded, watching Kai as he took a drink before taking one of her own. “So who’s going first?”
gavin taylor.
“An IPA please. Loser buys next round?”
“You’re so on.” Ronnie agreed with a laugh. “One IPA coming up.” She continued before heading to the bar.
klaus mikaelson.
“Haha, cute. I see that Salvatore sass has made it’s way on to the next generation.” He smirked and also took a sip of his drink before throwing his dart, hitting the board perfectly, but just barely hitting the bullseye. He turned to he with a shrug. “I tried to warn you.”
“It’s a gift.” Ronnie shrugged, an amused smirk on her face as she readjusted her grip on her own glass. “Nice.” She nodded, an eyebrow raised appraisingly before taking another sip. “Still got two more, though.”
hope mikaelson.
With a small laughter she started to not her head. ❝Deal. As long as I get at least two fries.❞ She was teasing and joking at this point as the woman was already distracting her brain.
Veronica didn’t bother to hide the grin that broke widely across her face. “That’s a deal I can get behind.” She nodded, letting out a laugh of her own. “I’ll grab the first round, what’s your poison?”
riley lockwood.
Looking out to see Veronica made Riley smiled when she came toward her. ❝Hey!❞ She hummed as she brushed her hair back. ❝No, you never are. You know me.❞
Veronica let out a small laugh as she nodded; that much was true. She had never known Riley to turn anyone away. Honestly, it was admirable. “Mind if I join you, then?” She asked, dropping down beside her and letting her feet dangle over the edge without waiting for an answer. “So why are you out here?”
felicity kenner.
“Nope, just coffee. I like sodas and from time to time a good tea. It’s just coffee I can’t stand.” She shrugged. It did suck, but at the same time Felicity had just come to accept it. “It’s a good philosophy to have. No one can agree on everything. As long as you’re not hurting anyone then so be it.”
“Huh. Interesting.” Ronnie nodded, not bothering to think much of it. Everybody had their things and sure, it had to suck, but it wasn’t something she herself ever had to worry about. “I mean, so long as you’re having a good time and enjoying your life there’s no reason for anyone to shit on it, you know? Especially when half our population is supernatural. Gotta enjoy life somehow.” Maybe that would change after a few centuries, but she seriously hoped not.
kiara gerard.
❝ is he good with cars? ❞ kiara had to learn how to fix cars because it was expensive to let someone else fix them ❝ i am not? could be ❞ the witch grimaced ❝ maybe it’s usually the battery, it might be dead. i could steal one from another car ❞ she teased.
“He’s better than I am. Anytime I’ve had to have him work on mine, it’s never had any issue. Plus, as his niece, it’d be super easy for me to talk him into it.” Veronica shrugged easily, a cheeky grin on her lips. She could probably learn a thing or two from Stefan about cars if she wanted to, but she had other things to focus on. “I mean, we could.” She laughed. Stealing from another car wasn’t the right thing to do by any standard, but that didn’t mean she wouldn’t do it. “We could always just trade out a functional one for yours if that’s the issue if you actually wanted to.”
elena gilbert.
It made Elena smile to hear that she remembered them and simply just still cared. With the distance that she was feeling from her it was getting more difficult to tell if her daughter hated her and cared anymore but in these moments it made her smile and feel needed and loved again as she listened. ❝Well I hope you aren’t going easy on her because that isn’t how Damon and I raised you.❞ She softly chuckled as she let her hair down from it’s ponytail.
“Never. Best friend or not, I don’t go easy on anyone. I think when I turned I just got more competitive.” Ronnie laughed, the words coming so easily she barely even realized what she’d said. She had never really talked about her transition or the vampirism she had now, at least not with her mom. And she did feel bad about it, it was hard not to be telling Elena every detail but if she got into it, she’d have to tell her how it happened. Not telling her everything would have been impossible and she didn’t want to change the way her mom saw her if she knew the truth.
mabel mikaelson.
“hey. so, on a scale of 1 to 10, how precious would you say the thing you had me hold was?” lips pressed tightly together, she mentally cursed herself for using the very accurate past tense.
“It wasn’t anything too important.” Ronnie shrugged. “But given the look on your face, note to self, don’t let you hold anything valuable from now on.”
Veronica gave herself one last look-over in the mirror before she left her room and headed towards the stairs. One day, she would move out from living with her parents, but she wasn’t there yet. “I’m heading out, don’t wait up.” Ronnie called as she grabbed her keys. She paused for just a moment, thinking, before she headed towards the sound of her father in another room. “Hey, daddy, you feel like a drink? Either booze or the bartender, I was gonna decide when I get there.”
