As you can see, moody boys in wrestling are my weakness from Daniel Garcia to Kevin Owens to now Hook, I have a problem. Here we go:

If anyone remembers not too long ago, I played Hook in another group before it officially closed. I had a plot that had Hook engaged and with a 5 year old daughter. We’re keeping that canon but he’s no longer engaged with the reason being that Alejandra felt suffocated by being only known as Hook’s girl. They still coparent their daughter but he only talks to her about Ellie. It triggered a relapse into Tyer that he hides well around his daughter and even more well around his family.

When he doesn’t have his daughter, which is often since Ellie has moved back to New York with Alejandra, you can catch him at your local strip clubs or any type of party scene. Ships are off the table for him. I want to develop him more before I get into that but I’m open to one night stands, fuck buddies, best friends, friends, rivalries, and maybe an ex or two.

When you said your last goodbye, I died a little bit inside. I lay in tears in bed all night. Alone without you by my side.

This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. After much deliberation and back and forth between Tyler, Tony, and his father, creative had decided to have him win the championship that he grew up staring at on a mantle in the living room. Six months ago, Tyler had explained to his then fiancé Alejandra exactly what would happen the moment he won his first championship. Whether it was the FTW championship, tag team championship, AEW championship, it didn’t matter to him because he would be a champion. He explained to her that the moment he would win and he’d done being all broody and mysterious in front of the camera that behind it, he’d probably cry. A good cry, an exhausted cry, a cry that you build up to after years of sleepless nights and hard work. A cry that you have wanted to let out after every single midnight to 4AM training session which lasted sometimes longer. The one that lets you know that you’ve made it.

“And I’ll be right by your side with you when you do.” Is what she had said. It was what she had promised. Tyler could still hear the echo of her voice saying that to him but.. Alejandra wasn’t here. He had a vision of walking behind the curtain and his girls, both her and their daughter, with the same shared smile would be the first two of many happy faces. They weren’t. It wasn’t anyones fault that this had happened. Alejandra had expressed that ever since getting back together with him that she’d been known as “Hook’s girl” causing it to be difficult for her to make friends. A lot of people were intimidated by Tyler and it was only because he didn’t talk much backstage. Social anxiety can do that but from what they seen, he didn’t express emotions well. Alejandra may have been Hook’s girl but Tyler was Taz’s kid something that had started the whole trail of him becoming how he is. Tyler could apologize to her one hundred times.. but nothing seemed to change until one day, something did. Alejandra had decided for her and Ellie to move back to her small apartment in the Bronx so Alejandra could find her own identity. Tyler couldn’t fault her for that.. not long after, the long distance thing just fell through.

Still, the lingering feeling of the adrenaline from tonight’s championship win had him in true belief: She should be here.
