⋠ Rain ⋡
Nothing was more soothing than a rainy day inside the house with a cup filled with delicious hot chocolate and a blanket surrounding ones body. Maybe for others, the ideal way to spend a rainy day out is to grab their loved ones and get them wet under it with a soft kissed and emphasized their love for them. But despise the differences and common likes, everybody loved the rain.
Not that she hated it, no. Inoue Orihime was incapable of hate. Rainy days weren’t just her top thing. Sure she would grab her yellow coat and go outside on her own and have a little splash here-splash there. But that was not the correct time—correct mood. On a rainy day, a certain individual with spiky hair and peculiar attitude had lost their loved ones when they were younger, and she could relate completely. Inoue had lost her brother not long before her savior lost his mother. Hence why she had a gloomy mood clouding her mind.
She seemed had that connection ever since. Rainy days represented something to her as well as anybody who knew the story.
“—??” Her troubled mind seemed to show on her face upon hearing a soft voice cease her inner wars. She could only recall half of the things that were directed to her from the stranger—which completely turned her head around as she exchanged a warm yet apologetic smile at the other female.
”—A-Ah, sorry. I was distracted for a second, my fault, ehe… Would you mind repeating what you asked, please?”
Ninosca didn't really always offer and say something like this when she had just first met someone, but it was raining, and getting wet wasn't something that people normally enjoyed. Plus she was trying to get closer to people, so maybe offering something like that, some protection, would help her get a little bit better with those around her. It didn't really mater, maybe she shouldn't have asked, it was just her own little thing she had.
The woman knew that she would probably want shelter from the weather, and even though she didn't know everyones story, she never met someone who just wished to stay outside in the said downpour-- except for her of course, and no one was really like her, no one she had met anyway. The drops made their way down her face, as a small sigh came from her, it felt nice actually, the rain seemed to make everything go away--
Hearing the others reply, the dual haired woman stayed where she was, and blinked-- It looked as if the stranger was pulled too far deep into their thoughts, she knew how that could be.
"People don't normally enjoy standing out in the rain, in such a downpour..." she spoke. It was coming down heavier-- "So I asked if you needed some shelter for the moment being."
