“listen, okay, i’m just asking for like -” she runs her fingers through her hair, mostly out of annoyance, but peggy felt like this question should not have been given such an immediate negative answer. “look, saying no is like breaking the first rule of conduct when it comes to us, which is we have each others back?” letting out this deep sigh. “and when i lied to my mother four months ago and said i met a nice person who i’m dating, i really did think, four months later i’d have someone to go to this stupid dinner with tonight, but tinder sucks ass, and i hate like 87% of the human population - so you’re all i’ve got.” she’s stopped pacing at this pout, and she’s pouting. if she’d really thought about it maybe she could admit she knows why theres hesitance, but she won’t. “pretty please, go on this date with my mother and me tonight and pretend to love and cherish me, and that you have since you met me? or four months ago, which ever she goes with first? come on, i’ve seen you naked like at elast twice, the least you can do is fake it with me til you make it with the mushy stuff.”

general.

sun sign: pisces.  mbti alignment:  isfp. traits: adaptable, quick thinking, distracted. health related: depressive disorder, peanut and peaches allergy. personal life: decently open about most things to closer colleagues.

food: veggie pizza.  drink:  hazelnut latte. time of day: dusk. flower: lilacs. song: uptown girl. 

questions. 

what is their attitude? → finds rules more of a guidelines that should be followed but can be ignored if the situation calls for it, often takes in the bigger picture before jumping toward any conclusions, but still shares her thoughts and feelings on situations when she feels necessary. in the end, small wins are great and sometimes the best to celebrate because the long haul is usally, well long.

do they have a family/close friends? → adrian doesn’t consider anyone but her cousin close, and even now they don’t talk nearly as often as they had in her earlier years. her father already puts himself and her family at risk often enough, and considering she’s only on a once a year phone call basis with her mother, it’s fair to say that she isn’t worried about occupational influences or impact on them. however, if adrian ever felt her cousin was in danger, that would change things for her drastically, and she’d feel the need to want to protect them from herself since she’s putting her at risk.  in a situation where sacrificing a few civilians could save many civilians, what would they do? → adrian has a big heart, and takes many things personal, putting this decision in her hand would weigh her down either way, in the end, she knows that the best option is to save the many - and she’d answer that, but if her family, or significant other, someone she truly cared for is on the line, she wouldn’t have the will power to put them at risk, to not save them, but if that was her choice, the choices would weigh heavily on her, as many of her already sketchy choices do.

                                      and make mistakes from time to time {*BIOGRPAHY ; 

Adrian wishes she could say that she wasn’t one of those poster kids for mommy issues and a typical but dramatic life but that would be too unrealistic. In the end Adrian is exactly what her childhood molded her to be, four years in the foster care system didn’t leave much memory wise but it did instill this still always presence fear of complete darkness and a fight or flight instinct that’s always been part of her personality, she might even contribute her relationship issues with people up to those, always wanting friends but fearing the closeness.

In the end though she’s always been exactly the same, for as long as she can remember. Never enough for her seemingly perfect family full (or not so fully anyway) of one overbearing and consistently disappointed lawyer of a mother and genetic scientist working with the government of a father. She’s supposes in ways the reasons she maybe never went far was the fact that she was never truly theirs, even they believed so.

Either way these people never seemed to look at Adrian with her soft exterior and interior, fully of inappropriately placed puns and a touch of over confidence and sarcasm. And though she maintains being one of the more personable people her family has come to see she’s still manages to be overly awkward at times, ramble when she’s feeling nervous and sometimes over share or over step when she feels like the tension in the air is becoming too much.

Maybe not always the best personality points when it comes to an agency such as the one she works for, but nonetheless. What does keep everyone interested in her talents might be just her quick thinking and the easy way she can make fast and tactical ideas and decisions within seconds. Need a quick lie as to a persons background? Let Adrian tell you, she’ll pull a story from her back pocket. Need someone to come up with an new cover that seems accurate and useful? She’s got it.

It would seem at least in her book, that ridiculous four years she did in college for writing helped her in some way. It would seem that when one’s mother and father are knee deep in secrets and government ties eventually maybe one would find themselves under some type of scrutiny in the future, some kind of trouble. And maybe its the fact that her parents rarely mentioned her -even when they so wanted a child- maybe it has to do with she’s been so lost in the background, that they forget her about her.

But when Adrian finds herself too nosey one day at her fathers office, when she maybe gets herself a bit too deep in to someone’s business, when she’s bored and freshly twenty-four and a useless college graduate only working in her father’s office as pretty much just a secretary because she has no life, well - she sees things, investigate things, gets curious. Especially when your father and said client says not to touch a laptop, which has apparently a specific file.  And somewhere along the way she kind of ends up with neck deep in a tangled lie, which ends up her playing secretary for them and some how ends up with type of offer on the table about needing someone to work with the agency that has her specific talents. At least this wasn’t a glorified secretary job in the end.

Though at the time she had no talents that she could speak of so even then how could she have known she would end up in a comfortable, riveting position that she’d only read about or written about in her free time. And maybe its not selling children’s books in the way she had wanted originally but it’s definitely got its own perks in the end.

though olivia has never been ashamed of how incredibly nerdy, indeed, her tastes are—but no one has ever made her feel good about it until adrian. well, her homies online don’t count, they’re cut from the very same cloth. “i love how you always answer my questions seriously,” she murmurs, nuzzling into adrian’s cheek and dotting it with several soft, chaste kisses before leaning her head down on her girlfriend’s shoulder again. “and i love when you ramble in your sleepy tiredness, and i love when you barge into my apartment in the middle of the night and somehow don’t expect i’m awake or think you’re a bother somehow…” she’s barreling through these things she loves, she blames it on thinking so much about it these last few weeks that she adds, without even really meaning to, “i love you.” and then her eyes widen slightly, her nostrils flare slightly, her heart drops slightly into her stomach. “anyways, what i was really asking is if you would still want to date me if i was rainbow-colored and had fifteen tentacles and only one eye, because that’s really what i look like beneath this meat suit and the overwatch t-shirt…”

“oh. dammit.” she hadn’t meant that to be the first words that come out of her mouth but they were because well, adrian had plans. like big romantic geeky i got you this cool firefly marathon romantic date idea in her head and then she was gonna say it like in the bath with olivia or something. like, she really had it planned out. and her mouth turned up, and her nose wrinkled because if she knows olivia she’s probably panicking. so she maneuvers herself out of olivia’s hold and turns so she’s more or less straddling olivia. and carefully taking her face in her hands. because olivia’s maybe trying not to make a big deal out of it but it is, to adrian. no one’s loved her quiet as softly or closely as olivia and she deserves to know adrian wants to do nothing but the same back. “i’m like, clearly like i love you back you know. so stop panicking about that, but like i’m mad because i was gonna let you make me rewatch firefly with you, and i got this really romantic rose shaped bathbomb and then i was gonna kiss you and just i wanted to say i love you first, and you kind of stole it from me you big soft nerd. like i’m a little jealous because yours was so casual and cute and soft and feel feel free to kiss me any time now...”

“not gonna lie, i thought about it. kissing you without warning to shut you up is always pretty sweet. sweeter than other kisses, maybe… should test that.” olivia put her hands on adrian’s cheeks to drag her girlfriend in bodily, to kiss her really rather sweetly. then she smushed those cheeks together and chuckled. “you’re cute, you know that? annoying, pain in the ass, exhausting. but the cutest button.” her hands slipped down to lace through adrian’s and tug her along, to her couch that was piled with pillows and her bunched-up blanket. “and did you know space is gay? when you play the protagonist as a female in this game, she had like, ex-girlfriends and shit.” she resumed her spot on the couch, still warm from the several hours she had spent in that very position, and pulled adrian down into her lap, one arm settling around her waist, her head on her shoulder. adrian was so warm and solid against her, it was hard to be mad at all about this surprise visit. “if we were aliens, would we still be dating, you think?”

adrian’s reaction to the kiss is the same as it always is, and unfortunately kind of sappy something she is not fond of happening because then she gets called out on more than one occasion, but still the smile is instant and she goes on a vague debate every time on whether or not her life is complete after that, usually its no more because she wants another kiss. “you know, that might have been a better test for the next time i was  actually rambling, not that i’m complaining. ever.” her nose wrinkles slightly but before she can even notice the reaction herself she’s piled in with her girlfriend firmly behind her, and for the first time since she left olivia earlier she’s efeling settled. “you’re kind of nerdy.” but she bites her lip to contain the grin she gets because no matter how many times olivia goes in about it or has some of the oddest questions, adrina finds herself falling in something more than like, which is clearly a bit too terrifying to think about. “aren’t we already aliens though? you know, like, we’d be aliens to others so like, are we not, already proving your question right? i think? did that make sense? i’m tired.”
