rowe-v-theworld:
It had gotten to a point where Sutton expected Stella’s like clockwork. She always texted, and the door was never locked for her.
It’d be hypocritical of him to be worried about Stella’s health and not his own but he would anyway. The was no such thing as a responsible drug dealer but Sutton would surely try.
“It’s open,” he called from his position lounging on the small couch he and Sydney had crammed into their dorm. He had a large sketch pad and a mirror in front of him, working away with charcoal stained hands, “You missed me? Oh really?” He raised his brows, tired smile pulling at his lips “Don’t I feel all special.” He sat his sketch pad down, swinging his legs so his feet hit the floor, greeting her with a fond, “Hello, Stella.” It was easy to say you were going to do something when you were alone and didn’t have the person you were bout to cut off right there, “And what do I owe the pleasure? Can I interest you in some ramen?”
she bounded into the dorm room, making a beeline for the couch and plopping down on the other side of it. “i missed you terribly,” she said, clutching her heart dramatically. the truth was, when it came to sutton as a person, she didn’t mind him. he was funny, charismatic, fun to be around, and the two of them had formed quite an...interesting connection over their time knowing each other.
but she didn’t talk to sutton because she liked him as a person, she didn’t have a desire to get to know him on a closer level. she really just wanted to buy some more acid and leave. “aw well thank you for the offer, but i’ve had my fill of sodium for the day. i’ll take you up on it next time, though, promise,” she said, words paired with a charming smile. “i was wondering what you had in stock for your favorite customer to purchase, i’m running a lil dry and we can’t have that, now can we?”
