i hope so!! i really don’t think they can do a middle spin off with out the original cast ever showing up. plus it’s already confirmed sue and sean get married and i really don’t know what they’re gonna do if he’s not in it at all

I really just forgot everything ive ever known & when i read that ask about a sue spin off i automatically went to sue from glee & for a solid 10 seconds i thought they were reviving glee for a spinoff about sue sylvester & lemme tell you, i stopped breathing for a second my body just shut down

if i’m going to be honest, i’ve never seen an episode of glee 🙈 but i can imagine this took you for a spin lmao

@scarose134: I honestly thought this last season of The Middle was the worst one. The stories were boring and tired, and it seemed like everyone didnt have their heart in it. The finale was kinda lame. Why was Sue’s happy ending getting married? What about her job and career? Why did Axl move back to Orson? He finally got out of there and was starting a new life. I also think Axl shouldve ended up being a writer. (I know Brick did but hear me out) Axl was very imaginative, an excellent liar, quick thinking and quick-witted. He and his mom have both refered to themselves as the dreamers of the family. Frankie even told him he had a big imagination and shouldve taken a writing class. Anyway, whatever. Doesnt matter.

season 9 had some great moments, but the overall story line was weak. in the moment i loved the flash forwards, but they come off very rushed and cheesy now. i wish they had just not had that and left it to the imagination. i never thought about it but axl being a writer would have been really interesting??? now i want it haha

yikes so im adding on here because writer!axl just cleared my skin so:

so imagine axl moving to denver and bored out of his mind (he’s never really been anywhere where he knows no one!)

and he sees a flyer for a writers workshop at the public library

he ignores it for like a month, but adults are boring and its so difficult to care about business outside of the office

finally, axl goes. 

he’s awkward and unsure of himself, but powers through it

at first it feels like english class and he resents it, but there are people his age and conversations about pop culture so he keeps coming back

eventually he starts writing and its awkward and axl remembers why he hated school.

so he stops writing and does what he does best, tell distracting stories. 

his stories engage his peers and they’re laughing

the instructor comes over and axl falters-its deja vu to high school- but instead of getting kicked out, the instructor teaches him how to turn his verbal stories into written words

and then it clicks. 

fast forward a year and axl is signing his first book deal. he’s going a book tour- he gonna charm the nation. 

so i got into this and im sorry but writer axl is my new life

I kind of wish they had either not shown the future or dedicated an entire episode to it. It just felt rushed and empty. I want to know what ultimately happened to Brad, Carly, uncle Rusty, big Mike, my girl Cindy. I wanted a tribute to Jerry Van Dyke (Tag). Do you think a spin off would work and what character would you want it to focus on? I'd love it if Brad got a spin off!

yeah personally i wish they’d left it out. don’t get me wrong, it was fun to see but i prefer making up my own ending then being fed canon i’m not very happy with. and i’d love to see a brad spin off! though i feel like axl would make the most sense since he’s the one away from everybody

Pretty much every week day Freeform which use to be ABC Family. Shows episodes of The Middle in the afternoon. But sometimes they have movies.

I’m honestly considering going through it all again by buying the DVD’s cause I rather have a physical copy than on I tunes and watch one every week

oh yeah, i like having physical copies too haha. and you really should!! i’m honestly thinking about it though i really don’t know if i have the time :/
