bella is the same bella that we all know and love. she is a little less clumsy but can still trip over air if the time is right. she likes fashion a bit more than our og bella did (cause who doesn't like to dress up every now and then!). she is a very warm and welcoming person and believes in second chances. she is very animal friendly and has two dogs. she has a strange relationship with her father but he respects him and loves him very much.
He had to admit, the blush that framed her cheeks was honouring to the other. He had not expected to get to her the way he had, it was evident he made her slightly nervous, noticing the race of her heart at the mistake. He didn't wish to make her nervous, but it was obvious that he was intrigued by her, and the humanity she displayed. It was refreshing, as his life was often consumed by the supernatural, and yet she is so .. pure. "It's quite alright, I have been called worse." He reassured with a smile. "I was returning from work , at least , that is what I told my dad." He chuckled, in reference to Carlisle, not wishing to display any differences to the 'stereotypical' family life. "My family are probably tucked up in bed , nonethewiser."
"Now you've got me curious to find out what you've been called over the years if you've been called worse then Edwin," Bella tagged on with a look of curiosity shining in her eyes. "And he didn't suspect anything else? You must really have him wrapped around your finger," she added, "i personally would rather be in the same position as your family for I actually just got off work because my boos is a dummy who didn't care for the curfew." There was slight irritation in her voice, not that he needed to be troubled with her woes, "you actually just caught me on my small walk home."
Walking the front door Bella let out a sigh of relief as she kicked off her shoes and hung up her jacket. "Mal I'm home," she called into the quiet apartment. Walking to the kitchen she grabbed herself a drink and a small snack before she moved to sit on the counter, not really having the energy to move or do anything just yet. "Mal, you here?" @ofkenner
After cleaning up a few booths Bella walked over to the new party at the table by the window and grinned as she pulled out her pad of paper. "Hey there what can I get you started with today?" she questioned as she moved to fix the small apron she had tied around her waist. For one who could be a tad clumsy here and there you would think working in a diner there would be many accidents but things had been smooth sailing for her so far. @vampyredefender
"You know what I've been trying to figure out over the years," pausing Bella glanced to her left at the other with a small grin, "I haven't been able to get the question out of my mind if the whole saying that when you're awake at night and can't sleep that someone's dreaming or thinking of you." Pursing her lips she frowned even more in thought, "cause if that's true and there is proof to it all I would like to know who is doing that to me and keeping me from the precious moments of sleep." @griefdawned
She had been late. Oh my gosh was she ever late. Never had she ever been this late before but here she was running exactly a half an hour late for her shift at the diner. "I'm in so much trouble," she breathed as she ran down the streets, making the proper turns in hopes that she could get there sooner. She hoped and prayed that her boss wasn't going to chew her out but alas she would take what she got. What she didn't expect was to run full force into someone, taking them both down to the ground, thus making her even more late. "Oh I'm sorry, are you okay?" she got out as she caught her breath and collected her things. @dianaxmeade
"It's been interesting to say the lest but I can't say I hate it here. It's not overly bad and my dad is here which is nice and I've made a few friends. I'm really liking it here so far."
"I would have to say my roommates, Mallory to be specific. It's nice to have someone my own age that I can talk to or just hang out with and not have to worry about anything. She's a gem and I am very happy to have her in my life."
"Sorry." They muttered quickly. Winnie cleared his throat. "Just making sure people aren't out for the wrong reasons." The faerie nodded firmly. "Would you like company while you wait for your father?"
Bella shook her head with a small but friendly smile, "Thank you but I'm not waiting for him live in an apartment with some roommates, I was only planning on calling him when I got home," she reassured with a shrug. "Though I wouldn't mind a bit of company for a chat if you're headed this way."
He was aware of his nature, not often being able to lead a conversation without coming across as awkward, or strange. To a human, perhaps he appeared as such, but he was doing his best to fit the social norm. There was much she did not know, but he wished to keep it that way. She was fragile, all humans were, and he did not intend to ruin that. "Sorry , I am not the finest with words." He spoke, rubbing the back of his neck. He chuckled upon her words, nodding a little. "Edward but yes, Carlisle's son is right." He was the closest to a father he had ever known.
Bella could feel a blush rushing over her cheeks at the correction of his name, nodding slightly she glanced down with a small grin. "Sorry bout that, Edward right. That sounds far better then Edwin does," she chuckled gently. "So what are you doing out this late, there is a curfew going on right now," pausing she glanced back up at him with a small frown, "isn't your family wondering where you are?"
They were just attempting their first attempt at patrolling. They were the new guy so had to attempt. But they were told no one should be out, hence their suspicion. The faerie walked closer before clearing his throat. "Police." He muttered. "Are you aware of the curfew." Winnie asked slowly regretting how unsure they sounded.
It took everything in her not to roll her eyes, if she wanted an over-protective around she would have gone and found her dad. "Yeah obviously," she stated while taking in a deep breath, "which is why I'm making my way home from work that just closed with plans on calling my father when I get there."
Slowly, she stepped into the dim light of a nearby streetlamp, revealing herself to the stranger. "Sorry" Maeve spoke in a soothing tone, trying her best to appear non-threatening. "I didn't mean to startle you. I was just passing by. Are you okay?" She took a step closer, concerned for the girl's well-being, especially with the curfew in effect and the rumours of strange occurrences in the town.
Bella frowned slightly and nodded slowly. "Yeah I'm fine just getting off work, with the curfew in place I didn't really expect anyone else to be out," she explained as she gave the other a small smile. "Though I could ask the same of you, are you okay? What are you doing out?"
being a newly turned hybrid with a newborn baby, it was hard. but it wasn't impossible. mostly the people she fed on were men, the ones trying to hurt women. right now she was trying to get home to her apartment to relieve her babysitter and see her little boy. but with her airpods in, it was difficult to recognize how fast she was approaching and her steps startled the other. ❝ sorry, just lost in my own world here. ❞
Bella stared on with narrowed eyes, she wasn't usually this suspicious but with a curfew and being out so late was enough to set her on edge even if she didn't outwardly show it. "No it's okay just wasn't expecting anyone else around," she stated with a shrug. "Are you on your way home too?"
Despite advice, Edward has chosen to wander into the new found town, exploring the new territory. He was not phased by the animal attacks, perhaps by poor judgement, however, if he could, he intended to safeguard any humans on his track, reducing any blood shed that make come along the way. He had turned into the next street before his gaze met another, brows raising at the moment his eyes locked with hers. "Just me -- Bella, isn't it?" He realised the moment he spoke, how strange it sounded. "I uh, know Charlie, before it sounds a little stalkerish."
She could feel her brows frown slightly before she nodded slowly. Always be cautious, she could hear Charlie's voice in the back of her mind as she stood in front of him. "Yeah, Bella. That's me," with a half smile she shrugged her shoulders and glanced down at her feet. "It does sound a little stalkerish but I think I'll give you this one pass," she teased as she glanced back up at him with a small grin. "You're Edwin right? Carlisle's son?"
