I saw on their discord they were having people post their booktower stuff to tumblr or tik tok and felt like showing mine! I don’t have very much added but still, I really like this site and think it’s a super fun way to organize everything you read and be able to share stories or fics with your friends easier than scrolling through all of ur ao3 bookmarks lol

got my live laugh bone calendar today! Sooner than expected! I bought the full bundle and love it SO much. It truly fulfills my fontcest loving heart. It’s amazing to me that these artists and those who created the calendar project itself are brave/proud enough to make it in a world full of antis who will hate. It inspires me and makes me so happy! I will definitely definitely be buying again if this project happens again next year. All of the art in it is GORGEOUS, the layout is great, and generally the calendar feels full of life ya know? thank you so much for doing this! @livelaughbone

I love how much Morty has quietly grown into Rick over time. In season 7, when you put him next to Evil Morty, he still felt so young and naive. But watching S8E1, he’s sharper, more jaded, and so much more like Rick than before. I know the episode’s main point is to show Beth and Rick how they look from the outside, but Morty honestly isn’t that far off from Rick anymore.

He’s starting to feel eerily close to Evil Morty.

been thinking a lot about evil morty these days. you just cannot convince me that, deep down, under all the cynicism and bravado he's built, he isn't still just a 14 year old craving some connection and genuine love from someone. do you guys think he hates to see mortys who are genuinely loved by their ricks and wonder why he wasn't able to have that... like, to just be a normal kid. GOD i love him he makes me so sad.

7. Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?

I liked season one when I watched it for the first time, but a third of that season is unwatchable to me now. I have no idea how I sat through it the first time. Unpopular opinion, but the first three episodes after the pilot are incredibly stupid.

19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?

I guess this is the obvious answer, but I hate that the dudebros scared everyone off. Rick and Morty was almost universally beloved until the Szechuan sauce meltdown (people deny it now, but it's true), and then it became "cringe" overnight. The show's still going, but its reputation never fully recovered.

I love the current fandom, but I do see posts from the 2015-2017 era and wish we still had that kind of community. Now, it feels more like a fandom for a niche show that ended years ago, not a hugely popular show that's still airing.
