illuso's voice comes out watery at first, like a distant echo behind the glass, before her face appears in a dozen little reflections in the broken vanity mirror that was the only truly reflective surface in the room. killing was messy work - she never fussed about that, not really - but grateful dead was very good at leaving quite the impression.

her hand dips out of the largest of the broken shards to snag an overturned perfume bottle, and then it withdraws again. their target had been a rival gangster with a habit of skimming night clubs from the edges of passione territory, and they had been sent to make an example of him and his handful of lackeys.

she sniffs at the bottle for a moment before she gives it a light spritz and then sets it back on the table.

" did the bathroom have a mirror i could climb through? this one's a little cramped. "

she scowls broadly when prosciutto's voice speaks up over her shoulder, her arms coming to cross over her chest. it should be simple work: stake out and then making the target disappear.

her patience had run thin hours ago, along with the smell of smoke clinging to prosciutto's jacket and the sun bouncing from the walls of the buildings and making her head hurt, and hearing prosciutto's voice in calm collection makes her brow twitch.

" why don't you go do some smooth talking, get us a spot closer to where we're supposed to be, huh? or better yet, call this a wash of a stake out and get up? ugh. "

she stretches her legs out and squints an eye shut when her knee cracks and she can feel her back tense. ugh! she wanted to get up.
