I know that. I just do not want you getting hurt. I get that you do not have the same ideas as me. I am not asking you to have them. I just wish I did not have to worry about you getting hurt but someone you bring home. I should have just moved in with you. I just do not want you to get hurt. Is that so wrong? [Athena snuggles back into his shoulder.] You are pretty great too. [ she makes a face.] Gross. He was not attractive Dio. You could do better. Can I braid your hair?
Good, as long as we've established that you're great. But come on, Athena, he had a winning smile and a great butt. What was I supposed to do with that?
Why does everyone say something mean about my sweaters. They are sweaters. And I am not that great. Stop saying that. [she shakes her head.] They were made of cotton Dionysus. Why are you trying to confuse me?

I guess they are usually negative words, but you're just so great you make them wonderful. Just like how you can make a sweater that would be hideous on someone else look like a million bucks. And, true, they were just black slacks, but I think they were made out of something fancy, like boyfriend material.
I am not fussy. Am I? I mean I do not think I am. Why would that suck? I think it would be better if I was not stuck up and fussy. And I clearly scared away that waiter you wanted.
You're the absolute best kind of fussy and stuck up, trust me. I wouldn't want you to be any other way. And I doubt I would have got into that waiter's pants anyway, so no harm was done.
Not even a little bit. I know I am pretty embarrassing. [She looks down at her clothes. and tugs at the bottom of her dress.] I mean I know I talk funnily and I do not wear modern clothes well and my hair is always braided. I am sure I embarrassed you when we went to lunch the other day.
No, honestly, I've never been embarrassed by you. If you weren't all fussy and stuck up you wouldn't be you, and that would suck. Like, that would seriously suck.
