As much as Ky’lar wanted to admit that he remembered what brought him here, it was more of slight pieces of memory that just caused a headache when he tried to remember them, and it was easier if he simply didn’t focus on the situation. It was something that he knew wouldn’t be easy to achieve, but at least he was trying…. even if knowing where he was didn’t seem to help matters.
“Versailles?”
The question was asked as an eyebrow was lifted, he didn’t think he had gone that far, but it seemed that fate had other plans for him. Not to say he wasn’t planning to there, but it also wasn’t meant to be for another month or longer…odd in his mind truly.
“A bit far off from intended, but from what I remember? Not much, I was drinking, and then…. it’s all downhill from there. Flashes of fire and yelling… that is about it.”
the queen stood there in silence for a quite a while. marie was contemplating on whether or not having him sent away right now, considering he offered nothing. from the looks of it, she’d label him a drunkard. it only seemed fitting because he had been drunk and he had drunk enough NOT to remember the events of last night.
“ i am not sure i like your presence here. you, by definition, sound much like a drunkard and those are not accepted at court, much less tolerated, b u t i am a woman with a kind heart, so you can stay ONE night. by the looks of it, you are in need of a bath and food and france is not the place to be at the moment, sadly. “
