brielle montgomery - siry wedding
outfit ;; black and silver dress and matching heels
Brielle had had a little fun during Easter break. She and Beau has gone home just long enough that they could see their family, then heâd left on some trip with Xander, so Brielle was fine with going back to Hogwarts and find her own ways of entertaining herself. The rest of break was spent in a constant cycle of partying the night away and sleeping her hangover off the rest of the day. She had just woken up from a nap and was dragging herself down to the kitchens, thankful that the castle was still fairly deserted, when she ran straight into someone. âOuch,â she muttered, stepping back and glaring up at the other person through her hungover haze. As soon as she process that it was Amycus standing across from her, she closed her eyes and willed this nightmare away.
The last time sheâd seen her childhood friend was just a few days before when she was sneaking out after a particularly shameful hook up and was content to completely forget about it forever. However, her mind played the memory on the back of her eyelids like a muggle drive-in theater and caused a slight heat to rise to her cheeks. âI really donât want to do they whole awkward âwe hooked up, now what?â conversation right now,â Brielle said as she pushed past him and began heading toward the kitchens again, hoping to hide her soft blush. âSo letâs just forget it ever happened, yeah?â
@amycarrow
Brielle had received an owl from their mother asking when to expect them home for break. She loved their parents, but the thought of spending the entire Easter break at home left a bad taste in her mouth. After sheâd read the letter, she sent an owl to Beau, telling him to meet her down by the lake to catch up and plan their trip home. As usual, she was running late and started jogging so she didnât leave him waiting, but as she neared the lake, she saw a figure on the ground, her heart dropping âMerlinâBeau?â Speeding up, she dashed to his side, placing a hand on his shoulder as concern colored her face. âWhat happened?â Brielle searched him, her overprotective side coming out in full force as her eyes scanned for any blood or injuries. âHow long have you been out here?â

âOh thank Merlin youâre here,â Juliet grinned at her friend, flopping in the empty seat across from the girl. With most people home for the break, Juliet found herself bored. Sheâd visited her uncles once or twice, but they were mostly busy with work. âIâm bored shitless, so youâre going to stop whatever this is that youâre doing,â Juliet waved her hands towards what Brielle had been doing before sheâd interrupted her. âAnd we are going to go out. Or something. I havenât decided yet.â
Brielle looked up as she saw her friend, a half-smirk forming on her face âI just couldnât stay away from you, Jules,â she said with a teasing tone. âBeau went on some trip and I didnât feel like stay home with out parents, so I thought Iâd come back. Well, when you decide what we should do, let me know.â
{ dorothea }â:
âYouâre right, I do.â Thea said cockily, shrugging as she started to walk with her friend again. âI have a feeling things other than curiosity can satisfy you, youâre right.â She added, tucking some of her hair behind her ear.
She rolled her eyes slightly as they walked. âYouâve got a mouth on you,â Brielle said, turning to look at her. âAnd thatâs not a compliment.â With a tiny smirk, she turned down the last corridor before reaching the office sheâd needed to drop her essay off at. âWell, itâs half a compliment.â
{ sybill }â:
âThatâs exactly what I am saying.â she nodded. âAnd I donât mean school year, you shouldnât date till January is born.âÂ
Brielle raised an eyebrow. âAnd how exactly do you know this? And why only about me specifically?â
{ elias }â:
Elias nodded a little bit and started to follow her to the door, and into the hallway. âCan you, uhm⊠maybe not tell anyone? If my siblings hear about this, Iâll never hear the end of it.â He admitted awkwardly, looking up at her hopefully. âHe really isâŠâ Most of the time, he loved bowtruckles. He still did, but he didnât quite enjoy having one in his hair.
She rolled her eyes, but still replied, âI wonât tell anyone, but just know Iâll be laughing about this for quite a while.â Brielle absent-mindedly scratched the little bowtruckle while they walked. âI think this oneâs my new favorite. Iâm gonna name him Eli and itâll be our little joke.â
{ beaumont }â:
âBecause this would be so much more fun if I still had a shiner.â Beau said sarcastically, eyes falling on her face again once it softened. âYeah, I know.â He bluffed. It just freaked her out, and it was never a big deal⊠and he really didnât want her to get herself into trouble because heâd somehow pissed someone off again. âItâs karma from when we were kids. The world is just balancing us out.â
âYou know what I meant,â she said, a bit short on patience. âBut Iâm serious. If that happens again, Iâm not holding any punches. Iâll see how much she likes getting a shiner.â Brielle muttered last few words before deciding to let it go. âWhat do you want for lunch?â
{ elias }â:
Elias scowled at her words, rolling his eyes. Finally, however, it seemed that she managed to get it out, and he let out a massive breath of relief. âThank Merlin.â He muttered, watching the bowtruckle in her hand for a moment. âThank you. Yeah, we can take him down there. Heâll probably just put him in with the rest of his branch in their tree. And keep an extra eye on him so he doesnât try to sneak away with students again.â
She tilted her head, starting toward the door. âYouâve made it this far, Elias, walk with me.â Brielle watched the bowtruckle in her hand, making sure it didnât do the same thing to her as it did to Elias and nestle itâs way into her hair. âThis little trouble maker is gonna need someone to keep an eye on him.â
{ dorothea }â:
âOh, youâre no fun.â Thea said with a laugh, shaking her head. She supposed flirting in the hallway may not be the best way to convince Brielle, of all people, but it wasnât a terrible way either. âYouâll never know, itâs a mystery.â
âIâm plenty of fun when it counts and you know it.â She shot the other a glare, before rolling her eyes and turning to start walking again. âYou know that muggle saying--curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. Guess Iâll just have to be satisfied some other way.â
{ amos }â:
âWow, late-night or something?â Amos asked curiously, with a light-hearted laugh leaving his lips. This spot in the library was a well sorted out spot, everyone practically knew about it and the number of glares he had gotten from people for being in this spot.. was enough to last a lifetime. âHey, hey..â the male quickly spoke, raising his hand to defend his sugary choices. âI have made it way pass halfway on these assignments thank you very much and I have yet to crash,â he told her proudly.
âWeâre all so proud of your halfway accomplishments,â she deadpanned, glancing up just a bit from her book. After a moment, she looked back down and started planning out everything she needed to do before lunch. âNow tell me, Amos,â she said as she finished writing. âI donât see you in the library all that often--whatâs motivated you today?â
{ dorothea }â:
âReally? I could have sworn that I found another.â Thea teased, but then chuckled at her words. âI completely agree.â If they werenât going to have fun during their time at Hogwarts, when were they supposed to have fun? âAre you kidding? You could get fun like that whenever you wanted, Bri.â
She smirked, shaking her head. âIâm not going to dignify that with a response, Thea.â However, she giggled when Thea said she could have fun whenever she wanted. âYou offering, Arslan? Or just teasing?â
{ sybill }â:
âOkay, good.â she said, relieved by her words. âWell, it would be great if we can avoid some death around here after everything thatâs happened.â she said with a sigh.Â
Brielle stared at the other for a moment, her head tilting as she stopped and thought. âDeath? So youâre saying that if I date someone this year, theyâre gonna die?â
{ amos }â:
amos diggory never thought he would be saying the words in the same sentence of having an early morning, usually, amos was the last to breakfast because he chose a few extra hours of beauty sleep. yet, here was amos.. with a stack of books tucked under his arm, some parchment of course and a prime spot in the library in the far corner just so you could see the black lake but also so you didnât give yourself away while talking in the library. he was sold. his head was focused on the pages he was reading until a shadow had cast over his pages. âlisten, iâm happy to share the table but the box of every flavored beans.. not gonna happen.â amos said with a crooked joking smile on his lips, staring at the person.
Brielle had woken up late--a late night studying with the promise of getting to the library early to finish up some homework--and had left her dorm later than she had hoped. By the time she had finally made her way down, someone was sitting in her favorite spot. She sighed, moving to the spot opposite of Amos, one that still had a view, but not quite as good, and set her stuff down. âItâs morning, Diggory, I hardly want that much sugar. Youâll crash before you can even get halfway through whatever youâre working on.â
{ milo }â:
âI-right, okay,â Milo cleared his throat, moving to write his own essay. He went to grab his book, watching it slip from his grip and land on the floor with a THUD.
Sheâd barely found her train of thought again when his book fell, causing her to jolt into an upright position, her eyes closing to contain her annoyance. âAre you always this clumsy? or is it just special for me?â
{ andre }â:
The letters from his father had not put him in the best moods and unlike usual, he spent his time alone in the courtyard but then of course he couldnât expect privacy in this tiny school where there were crowds of people everywhere at all times. This time when he heard someone he turned to see the pretty Ravenclaw brunette who he had come across a few times. âWhy do you ask me? It looks to me like you require more help than I. What is wrong?â
When she looked up at him, she zoned out a little, quickly shaking herself out of it. Maybe the late night studying were starting to get the best of her. âIâm just trying to get out of the crowds. Decided the weather was nice enough to study out here today.â Brielle shrugged, one eyebrow raised as she stepped away from the door and closer to him. âWhatâs your excuse,â she countered.
{ elias }â:
âPlease donât be mad, I swear it was just an accidentâŠâ Elias obediently sat down on one of the chairs, resting his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands. âItâs curly, ask him. I donât know how he did it.â He muttered, frowning more as she started talking to the bowtruckle. âI would never have hurt it, thatâs why I was going to Professor KettleburnâŠâ
âWell he learned his lesson, didnât he, little one?â her voice was playful, almost sing-songy as she spoke to the creature, ignoring Elias for a moment as she continued untangling his hair. Once she got the bowtruckle free, she held it in the palm of her hand, her fingers curled just slightly so it could wrap itâs self around them if it wanted. âAll free, love,â she said to the creature before looking at Elias. âYou can look now, heâs okay. We can take him down to Kettleburn now, heâll know what to do next.â
