Chris knocked on the door of the current tenant in hopes of trying to find his next charge. The Elders weren’t so forthcoming with the information on who it might be, just that they live on this specific floor. He might have casted a spell to make sure he was the only one they considered for the vacant apartment on the forth floor, so that his integration into whomever the charge may be might be a bigger success. He caught wind that one of the neighbors needed to do laundry, so Chris thought it would be easier to introduce himself when he’s down at the facilities. With a basket full of dirty clothes he manages to knock on the door with his free hand in hopes of someone that might help him out. Eventually the door swings open and he is greeted by the person kind enough to open it for him.
“—Hey, there! Sorry, I just moved into the building and I don’t think my key fob is in the system just yet.”
She’s only been there about two weeks; the eighteen year old in her, not her father’s doing. He had wanted her to stay with him because after all she was the youngest and he wasn’t ready to let her go yet -- but Kira was just as stubborn as she was sweet. Eventually he agreed and she moved in. The news of getting into her choice of school was just the icing on the cake and she couldn’t stop grinning. On the off chance that she wasn’t working that day, she was home and she opened the door with a small smile only for it to grow into a bigger one. “It takes a few days, don’t worry about it. Let me grab my timer,” For the oven and cookies baking inside of it, “and key, and I’ll walk you down.”
