BASIC INFORMATION
Character name: Alecto "Allie" Carrow
Age & Birthday: 27. 31st August
Gender & Pronouns: Cis Female. She/her
Occupation: Owner of Delirium Bar in Knockturn Alley
Alecto has always been chaotic. From a young age she knew that she wasn't really wanted, and so she was determiend to cause as much havoc as she could. Her parents struggled to control her. Maybe if they'd tried a little more to love her it would have been different. But Alecto was, and still is, a law unto herself. She only has herself in mind, and doesn't really care about many others
Alecto struggled at school. She isn't very academic and she isn't the best at magic. She struggled in most classes, but she didn't really care too much. She knew she didn't want some high fancy job, and she didn't care too much about her lessons. She spent more time in detention than out of it. She left Hogwarts without a lot of qaulifications, but that didn't matter to her.
Joining the death eates was more as an avenue to cause chaos than it was the actual cause. Yes, she did believe in the pure blood supremacy, but she just enjoyed being able to create more chaos in more places.
BIOGRAPHY
Alecto was never a wanted child, and she certainly wasn’t planned for. A surprise addition to the wanted male heir that the Carrows needed. Alecto was just an addition that her father did not want, nor need. Alecto was both a spare, and a girl. She would have been more frustrated with this, if it hadn’t been that technically Amycus had been born first, and thus was actually the heir.
But, Alecto found that she couldn’t actually be annoyed at Amycus. She might be unwanted by her parents, but she never felt that around Amycus. The twins were closer than anything. Alecto loves herself more than anything in this world, but Amycus came in a close second. There is literally nothing that she won’t do for her brother. Throughout their childhood, they came as a pair, and that continued well into adulthood. Alecto just spent her childhood being a curator of chaos. She loved nothing more than creating chaos, and craziness. She sometimes involved herself, but on occasions she would watch from the side lines. However she planned it, Alecto loved being chaotic. Her mother tried to force her to be a good little pureblood girl, and dress up, and sew.
But Alecto hated that, even going as far as to ruin all her pretty dresses. She was mostly left to her own devices, with a father who didn’t really care, and a mother who did not know how to control her. Another thing that could not be controlled was Alecto’s magic. Even when she got to Hogwarts she was not the best at magic. Luckily, she learnt to control it a little more, but that was about it. She had some talent for potions, but she did not really care enough about her studies to benefit from the talent. Alecto found herself in detention more than anything else. But she kind of didn’t mind that.
Alecto left Hogwarts with not many qualifications. She spent more time getting in trouble than she did concentrating on classes. But Alecto didn’t really need a job. Her family had money after all. Alecto used that money to buy a little bar in Knockturn Alley. She’d found during her Hogwarts days that she could mix a pretty killer cocktail, and so she used these skills to run a successful bar.
Of course in order to get that bar she manipulated her father into giving her the money. It wasn’t hard. She had a rather gifted talent for manipulating. She just promised her father that if he brought the bar, that she would rake in the galleons. Her father was rather invested in getting as rich as he could, and so, she managed to convince him pretty easily to buy the bar. Not that he’d see the galleons. Alecto had no plan on sharing her success with anyone other than herself, and maybe Amycus.
Alongside her bar, Alecto also spends a lot of time using her ] her talent for manipulating. For what she lacks in her magical ability, she makes up for in her ability to make anyone give or do whatever she wants. It was this specific talent of Alecto’s that caught the attention of the dark lord. She might not be the best fighter, but she has a mind, and a manipulating talent that can be as deadly as the killing curse. Alecto knows that sometimes simply threatening people with a wand doesn’t work, and for those times, she is there.
One of the advantages that Alecto got by involving herself with the death eaters was that it opened up the door for Alecto to get mentored by some of the older death eaters. Her father would probably love this. After all, she was involving and supposedly making friends with the members of what her father would consider the more respectable pureblood families. Alecto just saw it as an opportunity to better herself. After all, she had always intended on proving to her father that she had not needed him to make herself important in this world.
As far as Alecto is concerned she has done just that. For a girl that was never wanted, and never planned, she’s made a pretty decent life for herself.
Sinistra slips her arm through Alecto's, leading her away from the crowd of people, giving them some privacy, and to stop prying eyes on them; mostly her parents. "At least we can agree that we enjoy each others company." Knowing there was more than one meaning behind it.
The witch caught sight of Rabastan from the corner of her eyes and felt a smile pull on her lips. "I do think so." There were times she knew that without her friendship with him, she might not be where she is today, especially with her first book. "I must admit, I am inclined to leave soon. Not much has caught my attention."
Alecto let SInistra slip her arm through hers before leading her away from the crowd of people. She honestly was grateful for it. "I always enjoy your company darling." More than most peoples. Alecto could only handle most people for a short amount of time. But Sinistra had never been in that category. She was one of her dearest friends, and Alecto really did appreciate her.
Alecto followed her gaze, and smirked a little. "Hard not to be." She glanced back at her friend, the smirk still on her lips. She knew this topic of conversation would do nothing for Rabastan's ego. But it was fun anyway. "Nor me. Such a shame. I'd have thought the Malfoys would've thrown a better party"
Sinistra was not surprised to see Alecto dressed in black, it suited her well, she did think a deep green would have been lovely on the other as well. The witch liked to play with colour. "I'm one of your favourite people?" A sly smirk etches into her features, an idea on why she might be, the two often spending time together, tangled between sheets and limbs. "I feel you might be a little biased." She would be the same in that regard.
"My goal is to ignore my parents for the rest of the night, now that my date is aware that he will be leaving alone." Another show of her parents interfering. Sinistra knew how great of company Rabastan was, considering their friendship and the time they'd spend doing things normal friends would not. "One of the best, though I could be biased again." Her eyes scan until they find him, chatting with a wizard.
Alecto just smirked at the other. She often handed out compliments like they meant nothing, and most of the time that was the case. Flirting, and being manipulative, it had worked well for her, allowing her to get where she wanted. "You are." And that was her genuine feelings. Sinistra was important to Alecto, and that was not something that she said lightly. Alecto rarely let anyone get too close, at least not emotionally anyway. "So?" She added, with a grin. She didn't care if she was biased.
Alecto just laughed, rolling her eyes. "Sounds like my plan too darling." Not that her parents had given her that much attention. But, she would rather not need to interact with them. If she could also avoid Mrs Lestrange too, it would be good. She laughed again, following her gaze over to Rabastan. "I think we are okay to be biased."
Catching the way that Alecto was looking at her, Sinistra did a little twirl for the redhead, before their gaze met once more. "Thank you. I had help when I was shopping and it does look lovely against my skin tone." Anything to make herself stand out a little more, catch the attention of other witches and wizards. The night was still young and she had no idea who she would leave with.
"There you go, flattering me, I do appreciate it." A seductive smirk on her lips. "You must tell me how we can make this a little more enjoyable? I'm rather tired of older wizards hitting on me." None that she found attractive. "You and Rabastan. Anything I should know?" She noticed that the two of them came together.
Sinistra was an attractive witch, and Alecto really was not against checking her out. She knew technically she should only be seeing her date as a potential suitor for tonight, and someone to take home, but she really did not care. Maybe Sinistra would be more fun than Rabastan would be. "It's lovely." She murmured with a nod. Alecto herself had gone for black. She wasn't really a pastel kind of person. And this dress made her look hot, so she was happy.
"I like flattering my favourite people." Of course, she could only really count her favourite people on one hand, but she genuinely did think Sinistra was on the list. "Oh trust me it is the worst. I thought coming with Rabastan would stop it, but apparently not." And she hated it so much. If only she could punch them like she wanted to. "Oh no." She mused with a little laugh. "Nothing serious anyway." She murmured, with a little flirty smirk on her face. "He's good company though"
Rabastan had been more inclined to attend alone, having little desire to restrict his options. But that was not the correct way of conducting oneself at such events. He was conscious of social expectations, and more importantly of his parents' wishes. The war was done and his brothers had returned. Therefore, there was no reason to postpone the inevitable and he knew he must escort a witch. So he had chosen Alecto, simply because he enjoyed her company. He thought nothing more of it, though she was correct - she was a wild card, and not the type of woman considered ideal.
Taking the glass from Alecto, he looked over her shoulder to where his parents were standing, deep in conversation with some relatives. His mother's eyes did indeed drift to his, meeting them slyly before turning away again.
"You're correct," he told her, arching an eyebrow and darkly laughing. "So if you don't want to hear the whisper of wedding bells on your horizon, I suggest you do something reckless. Set the curtains on fire. Explode a peacock, perhaps."
Alecto could honestly do without his parents watching the so closely. And she was honestly praying that they would not start talking to her parents. She didn't need her father catching on, and trying to make an arrangement. She knew he would see dollar signs when he saw the Lestranges, and well, she did not want to be married off to the highest bidder. She wanted to choose who she married. Of course, she actually wouldn't have had too many problems marrying Rabastan. But she wanted it to be her own choice. Not one her parents made for her.
"Reckless. You know me too well." Alecto murmured, rolling her eyes as she took a sip of her champagne. She would have considered it if she didn't want to not ruin Narcissa's wedding. Whilst she didn't really care about the blonde, she did care about Bellatrix, and so did not want to annoy her mentor. And so that involved not annoying her sister. "Those peacocks are bloody annoying."
The wedding was okay, she supposed. She'd been to her fair share of weddings, and she supposed this was good enough. It was a little boring though, and Alecto was glad for her date. She always had a good time with Rabastan after all. She had been a little surprised at him asking her. She didn't think she was the kind of witch his family would approve of, even if they did have good time together. But she had been happy enough to attend with him. At least then she would know creepy older pureblood men wouldn't hit on her.
"You know..." Alecto mused, taking two glasses of champagne from a passing waiter, and offering one out to Rabastan. "I swear your mother has been looking at us longer than she has been looking at the newly weds."
The ceremony was beautiful and she wasn't going to complain about the reception. All that mattered to the witch was free alcohol for the night. She was expecting the Black and Malfoy's to go all out and they didn't disappoint. Sinistra caught sight of the redhead, making her way over.
"You look stunning." She was surprised to see the number of people dressed in black, but the witch did look beautiful in her dress. "Are you enjoying yourself?"
To be honest weddings were really not her thing. Alecto did not want to get married. At least not yet. Why would she want to chain herself to some man when she was having so much fun? But she knew she had to show up. And at least she was with Rabastan so she knew it would at least be a little exciting. Otherwise, she probably would have been bored. She didn't anticipate that the newly weds could throw a party that she would enjoy.
"Sin. my darling." Alecto murmured with a big smile. She let her eyes drop, checking out the other woman, before returning her gaze to the witch's face. "You do too dear. And Im enjoying myself a lot more now that you are here"
Micah stretched their legs out in front of them enough so that their boots stuck out from under the table. One at a time, they reached down to unzip them and take them off. They knew that Alecto wouldn't let anyone steal them even if they passed out under the table as they had countless times before.
The click of her heels seemed to echo back towards them, getting louder until they came to a stop at the table. They heard her set the drinks down, and blinked their eyes blearily open to look at the bottom of the table. "Aw, hell..." they mumbled when she told them the time. Only to chuckle a moment later as if it were funny, "guess i've had a whole fun day..." The night had just barely started.
"Too early to... Walk away, come down here w'me..." they sounded almost as if they were rambling to theirself, though they were speaking to Alecto. They knew that she was about to drop her work to climb under the table and chill with them for a while, she always did. They didn't think they were worth it, so despite the way it made them feel just a little less cold in their middle, they would always try to brush her off first.
"A whole day of fun sounds like a day well spent to me." Alecto mused with a smile. Her day had not been as fun. Whilst she did adore working at the bar, being here for the full day, and into the night, like she had been today, it wasn't that fun. But, she probably would clock off soon, and that wasn't too bad. She also enjoyed when her friends came in. So, maybe being here for most of her day wasn't as bad as she originally had thought it would be.
"Since you asked so nicely." She murmured with a laugh. There was only a few people that she would actually get onto the floor with, but Micah had always been one of those people. But Alecto was one that always looked after her friends. There were not many people she let in, but she did like to treat the ones she did let in. it also meant that they would come back and spend time in her bar. That was everything. To have Delirium be successful meant the world to her. Especially when so many people didn't think she had it in her.
"Hi." She murmured, shifting under the table so slide in next to Micah. "You left room for me?"
A smirk immediately crossed his features at the tone that came out of the witches mouth, only taking a second before he could place who it belonged to, which made it all the sweeter.
Antonin's body shifts to stand squarely in front of the redhead, head cocked to the side and an amused expression tinged on his features. "I'm a fuckin' delight." His smirk grows wider. "You've never complained before, Alecto." A wink in her direction, azure hues glancing her over, appreciating her sight. "Curious to find you roaming this alley."
The red head smirked as she watched Antonin stand directly in front of her. She should have expected nothing less. "I could just walk around you" She pointed out, the smirk still on her lips. Of course, she wasn't going to actually do that, since that would be letting Antonin think he had won. And he had defiantly not won.
"Always a first time for everything Antonin." She mused, still smirking. She had no intentions of complaining though. After all, he had never left her unsatisfied. Not as of yet. "is it so?" She mused with a laugh. "i do venture out of Knockturn alley every so often"
As her hands moved into his hair, she ignited a lust that had been stifled for too long. He prised her lips apart with his tongue, teeth scraping her skin as she pulled away. He needed this. Getting laid was such a simple thing, yet he'd denied himself the pleasure for so many months until he reached the limit of his sanity. It was not like him to arrive announced. But he was done with everything, at the end of his tether with the war and his brothers.
Watching Alecto stalk towards him, he was more than willing to abandon his self-control. He raked his greed-filled stare over her revealed skin and wasted no time in laying his hands upon it, sliding cold fingers to grasp her waist and force their hips to collide. He could have screwed her there and then, backed up against the couch she'd only just abandoned. But that would have been too quick, too counter-productive. He wanted more.
So he broke the kiss with a thrilled laugh, and a leer that savagely lowered her delicious figure. Pushing his hands to her shoulders, he removed the robe, letting it fall useless to the floor as he circled behind her like a snake in sight of delicate prey. Not once did his hands leave her body. They remained against her pale flesh, forceful and possessive, as he took his time to get a far better look at all her assets. His mouth soon found her body again, pressing against her ear. "I am going to fuck you senseless, darling." She'd asked what was on his agenda - now she knew, if it wasn't painfully clear, already. Stepping around her, he gripped her hand and led her towards the bedroom.
There were few people that she could truly be herself with. At least like this. Whilst she knew that Rabastan liked to be in control, she knew that he also let her push the boundaries. He let her be bossy. And Alecto liked being the boss in the bedroom. A good portion of their interactions ended this way, and Alecto felt like she had a good idea of what he liked. That was why she knew she could push the boundaries.
The way he looked over her, just made her smirk. Alecto knew that she was attractive, she was hardly humble after all. But a man clearly appreciating her body, well that always did something good to her confidence. She moaned as their hips collided. Not only did she know exactly what he wanted, but he knew the same for her. It was why they worked so well. She knew she would never be left disappointed when he was in her bed.
"Oh...." She felt wetness pooling between her legs. His words were hardly polite conversation, but she loved it. He knew exactly what she wanted. "Exactly what i want." She mused, smirking, as she let him lead her towards her bedroom.
Amber hues glance down at her complexion of her arm, then up to follow the redhead's movement, sitting across from her. "Something you and Amycus must worry on a daily about." A sly smirk on her lips.
If Sinistra did not want the company of the other, she would have declined her presence on the other side, the caffeine flowing through her veins giving her energy to deal with people. "Alecto," she folds up her work, tucking it away in her designer bag. "You are doing well?"
The red head just raised an eyebrow, and then laughed. "Thank goodness for magic right?" And a decent skin care routine. Although she didn't spend too much time in the actual sunlight, so it wasn't really that much of a problem. At least not most of the time anyway.
Alecto knew that if the other hadn't really wanted her company she would have said, so there was a little smile on her face as she sat down. Sometimes it was easier to not have to make sassy come backs for once. "i am always doing well." She murmured with a smile. "How are you?"
"Heeeeeyyyyy, Alecto," Micah greeted her with a lazy smile and a loose wave of their hand. They shuffled their way past her, towards the back of the bar and the usual booth where they liked to hide theirself. It was hardly ever on purpose, but still when they were high out of their mind they found theirself returning unconsciously to the same places. The same people.
They slipped theirself under the table without thinking about it, sitting with their back against the side of the seat and letting their head fall back to rest against it. It was the same place they always tucked theirself when they wandered into the Delirium.
"... Time's it...?" their eyes were closed but they were sure they'd heard Alecto follow them. After their last tab, they had no idea what time it was, how much time had passed. In their mind, they thought it was much later.
Just as the had expected, Micah came on in. They didn't come in every night, but enough that Alecto did generally expected to see them a couple of times a week. It wasn't a bad thing. Alecto liked having regulars, and she liked her friends coming into the bar. It was the best bit about having a bar, getting to spend time with her friends. And so, when Micah walked in, Alecto was pretty happy. "Hi you." She murmured with a big grin.
She wasn't surprised with where Micah went and tucked them self. They did the same every time they came. To the point that Alecto mostly made sure there was at least one table free where they could. Abandoning the bar, after getting them both a drink, she made her way over to where he was.
"It's like.... 10.30pm." She mused, as she placed the drinks down onto the table. "You having a fun night?"
