While texting with Chris, Patrick had called for a car to take him to the other man’s place. He got there pretty quickly, with a messenger bag over his shoulder full of the things he had said he would bring– and some he hadn’t spoken about. As per the usual routine of meeting someone at their house, he knocked and Chris answered. When the door opened, he greeted the other man with a knowing smirk, grabbed the front of his shirt, and pulled him in for a kiss. He let the kiss linger, open-mouthed, with tongue and the knowledge that they had all the time in the world to explore this first kiss moment for as long as they wanted. When they finally parted, that smirk found its place immediately. “I hope that clears up any questions you may have, Chris.”
The text conversation Chris had been having with Patrick had left him feeling a host of emotions. It was unlike any conversation he had ever had before, Sure, Chris had done his fair share of flirting, but it was seldom ever returned. The truth was, he didn’t want it to stop. Hearing the knock at the door, he had bounded down the stairs, doing his best to run his fingers through his curls and taking a deep breath before he tossed the door open. It occurred to him to be slightly nervous, given that he’d done what he said he would, and taken off his shirt. Still, he pushed through, his desire to see Patrick overtaking any nerves that might have been lingering. Seeing the other he smiled immediately, opening his mouth to greet the man. Before he could speak, however, he was pulled into what he could honestly say was the best kiss he’d ever had. His tongue rolled lazily over Patrick’s, and he took a step closer, bringing a hand up to rest gently against Patrick’s cheek. The kiss was over too soon, and he found himself chasing those lips as they parted from his. “It definitely got your point across.” Chris replied with a chuckle, brushing the pad of his thumb over Patrick’s cheekbone. “It’s really good to see you, Patrick. Thanks for coming. Are you hungry at all? I made dinner, I wasn’t sure if you’d be hungry or not, so I made extra.”
