I just read the Jesy interview and to be honest, I don’t know where you’re all getting that Jesy is shading the other girls or blaming them for her issues? Like her saying she didn’t feel as attractive as them or that having time away from the pressure of feeling the need to be isn’t saying that that’s their fault. I feel like she’s made it quite clear that it’s higher ups in the industry and the general public that made her feel like that; not Perrie, Jade and/or Leigh Anne. If anything, she was extremely sympathetic about how the personification of her own negative thoughts burdened them. Honestly, the only thing that I feel even slightly indicates that the girls aren’t on good terms is that Jesy didn’t want to comment on their current relationship with her; but that could just as easily be a privacy thing.

It wasn’t in this interview, but in others, it really seemed like Jesy was like “I couldn’t be with them anymore because I was always compared to them and it didn’t help me by being with them,” when we all know that Perrie, Leigh, and Jade were always there for her 100% of the time. It’s the fact that those girls were always the ones who were telling her that, if they could be anyone in the group, they’d be her. Its the fact that they did everything in their power to make sure she knew that they adored the pants off her. It’s the fact that the girls legitimately thought she was just taking a break when this whole thing started, and, after she left officially, have not said a single bad thing about her. It’s the fact that Jesy’s team have speculated that Leigh announced her pregnancy just to take the spotlight off of Jesy’s first solo magazine cover. There’s a lot more that’s made us think this. Maybe not in this interview, but there’s more to all of this than meets the eye.

I have definitely seen people say it about this interview too, but either way, Jesy saying being with them was triggering at times does not imply she thinks they’re at fault, just that she unfortunately was not in a place to feel that love. Like all three aspects of “The girls loved Jesy the best they could”, “Jesy felt triggered being around them and needed space away to clear her head”, and “Jesy does not blame the girls for being triggered around them” can be true at once. Like it’s unfortunate, but as someone who has been in Jesy’s shoes (obviously in a non-famous way), sometimes you have to leave people behind who you know did absolutely nothing wrong because you need to heal and cannot in that setting due to outside factors. 

And by the sounds of the interviews, Jesy herself thought it was going to only be a break at the beginning of the separation but realised she couldn’t go back to it, and while that sucks for everyone, ultimately was for the best. And I’m going to be honest, I really do think it’s been clear for years that Jesy was going to be the first one to leave, and while the girls may not have thought it was now, I have a hard time believing they didn’t think it was a possibility; especially after Odd One Out when even their own fans felt our days with them as a group was numbered. And I think that’s part of the reason the acceptance came a lot easier than just say One Direction or 5th Harmony.

The allegations against Leigh Anne aren’t great, but having the knowledge I do about the legal and journalistic aspects of celebrity culture, it wouldn’t surprise me if Jesy had nothing to do with them. This is especially the case given her mental health and given how the media and even past group singers’ teams have pinned the ex group against the one leaving nearly every time it happens.

Again, none of this is saying there’s definitely no bad blood, because it is an emotional time for all and maybe there are hard feelings on both sides. But honestly, I don’t think anything any of the girls have said since, even when looked at together, indicates to me that that they are intentionally slighting each other. But that’s just one opinion and clearly the unpopular one at the moment.

I think you’ve made some amazing points here. You’re right: all three things can be true at once. My thing is, while she may not blame the girls, she hasn’t said anything to dissuade the thoughts that people (including myself) have had that she does. It’s just....strange to me, if that makes sense. She framed it as a break at first, then said she was leaving to take time for herself, but then is IMMEDIATELY in the studio working on solo music. It just seems like this was her plan all along, and it feels kind of shady because of how fast she started working on solo music after she said she left to take time for herself. If she had said “I’m leaving to pursue a solo career”, it might’ve been a little different because no one would’ve been blindsided by seeing her in the studio. Instead, we were all lead to believe that she was gonna be out of the spotlight for a while to give herself time to heal. We were all on board with that. Seeing her immediately In the studio was weird because we all thought she was gonna really take a break. Does anything I said make sense? I guess I’m just trying to explain why I, as a Mixer, feel the need to defend the other girls because none of this is their fault, but people are being shady toward them on Jesy’s behalf.

I'm tired... I'm tired of feeling everything and yet nothing at the same time. I'm tired of being so angry that my grandma is sick and angry that she chose not to choose treatment instead she went with "rising above the negative reports and the Lord totally has plans for me. Plans with purpose for blessings and not for illness."

I'm angry at her because in my most vulnerable and "Me" moment she told me not to "Get lost in the ways of the world because I'm too beautiful for that."

She told me I was too beautiful to be gay. She told me I was too beautiful to be Me.

And I feel guilty because I'm angry and I'm having a lot of feelings I haven't felt in a very long time. Feelings I haven't felt since my aunt passed away three years ago. Because part of me wants her to fight and get treatment because my aunt didn't get to fight. My aunt got a machine and didn't know what was wrong until it was too late... but the hurt and scorned side of me is just so angry and doesn't care what happens and I don't know how to process either of these things right now because they're so very different and I'm just not okay...

First, It’s ok to be angry over everything you just said. Your feelings are valid and you have every right to feel the way you do.

Second, you are beautiful BECAUSE you are you. You’re not “too beautiful to be” anything. You are beautiful, no matter who you love or what you do. You are so loved by so many.

Third, you are one of my closest friends, and I am always here for you, no matter what. Your aunt is so incredibly proud of you, and I know this for a fact, even though I never met her. I just know she’s watching over you and she’s smiling because she’s so proud of you and loves you so much.

I feel like maybe we’re gonna find out that Sharon has been working with Fury the entire time. Maybe she killed the actual Power Broker and took on the alias before Karli ever met her. I feel like Sharon is gonna be like “jokes on ALL OF YOU.”

Ok so Lily James’ acting during Amanda singing “I’ve Been Waiting For You” in Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again needs to be addressed bc it was absolutely breathtaking. It brings me to tears each time I watch it. She perfectly captured the pain and joy that childbirth brings simultaneously. The way she embraced Baby Sophie while crying moved my heart. She perfectly portrayed a mother’s emotion. All the work and pain in exchange for the beauty of holding your baby for the first time. Her performance absolutely floored me. I’m getting teary-eyed just thinking about it.

I’m the kind of girl who gets VERY EXCITED when I’m talking about something that I love. Anything that consumes my soul, like a book, or a movie, or an artist that I love. I just get very excited, start talking a lot, and I forget for a good 10 seconds what people are thinking of me. The thing is, I hope someday I can find someone who admires this in me as Dawsey did with Juliet. When she was drunk and started talking about the context and intentions of the author’s book, he was just looking at her like: ‘’oh, this is so nice. Look at her, huh.’’
