Hello Ogse! Mind telling us about your OCs? And which ones are your favorites?
Hello anon! The problem with my OCs is that I make them frequently and don't always stick with them! Regrettably, I end up with many underdeveloped characters! But I would be happy to tell you a little about the more steady ones!
Lilith: So this OC was the first I created when I learned about OCs in the first place, and she started out as a total sue character with like no bad traits, but ooooh fancy when she died (a written plot point) a demon sprung from her deceased body! As you could imagine, her character fell away quickly, but I have recently brought her back as a character in development, mainly because I liked her character design. She is still in the works, but so far her storyline is beginning to overlap with Eva's.
Aoife/Eva: This was the character that I created for SomethingWicked, and because she needed to relate to a fairy tale I have designed much of her fairy tale storyline (in which she is Aoife) around Swan Lake. In the SomethingWicked world, she turns to a sparrow at unpredictable times, and acts as a messenger between the other characters. However, in the real world, Eva is characterized by her attention to detail, her incredible ability to make friends, and her tendency to run from commitment and permanent decisions. Also she is a crazy bird lover and collects feathers and whatnot.
Hans: Ok another one of the first OCs I ever made, for dAs CastleHogwarts. He started off as a Knight-in-Shining-Armor figure, but changed to like a dessert loving adorable friend machine. He is just super loyal to everyone and doesn't want anyone to get hurt. And he bakes a lot. But he is kind of old news at this point.
Greta: So another old CasteHogwarts OC, she is really into gardening and is general a really quiet person. But she is really dedicated to whatever she is passionate about, and very well read. Again, old news.
Aiden: My third CastleHogwarts OC started out mainly as like a mischievous kid but i liked him so he became like a prankster/player/impulse-driven guy. But same as Hans and Greta, I don't really work with those characters any more.
Nikita and Grigori: These two came from my post-apocalyptic story. They came from a small village in Siberia that was burned down (during the apocalypse shh) and they grew up in the woods until Nikita was captured by Elite survivors in this industrial city in Russia, and is taken in as a servant to their household. What ensues is like a war against industrialism and Nikita and Grigori are on different sides of it and it is a big complicated plotline that I really love but do not have the skills to write.
Caoimhe and Rhiannon: These are the only characters I have actually written about. Basically Rhiannon is Caiomhe's mom and worships like dark forces and what not but is kind of insane and way stubborn and dedicated and then she dies in childbirth and Caiomhe is found by some nuns and is taken and raised in an abbey and is like the purest little kid ever but gets sick a lot and starts going a little stir crazy and so she sets off on her own and as it turns out worshipping evil while pregnant with a child did not work out so well for Rhiannon so (woops) Caiomhe is like embued with evil spirit and eventually she meets her doom because it like tears her apart.
I would say my favorite characters right now are.... probably always Rhiannon and Caiomhe because their storyline is just really creepy and i love it, but specifically right now I am having a lot of fun developing Lilith and Eva's overlapping storylines.
