what is your favorite and least favorite looks for dick?
ITS SO HARD TO DECIDE ON JUST ONE so I picked a bunch lol
my favorite robin look is the classic one with the pixie boots, the tiny yellow cape, the scaly panties that werenāt actually panties, etc IT WAS ALL SO PERFECT AND ICONIC and perfectly contrasted as a light, hopeful foil to Batmanās dark brooding schtick. I chose a tim sale robin image because his robin is so small and cute, which I am a sucker for.Ā
least favorite robin look:
I was going to bash the reboot robin outfit here since I hate change but I thought about it and itās not the worst robin ever unlike frank millerās hairy gorilla hulk hands caveman robin. he went out of his way to make dick robin terrible in every way and thatās why frank miller is garbage (among other reasonsā¦.)Ā
Dick in a suit!!! basically any suited up Dick will instantly be my favorite civilian look. I was going to choose Mikel Janinās cover of Grayson #9 but I thought thatād be a copout so hereās a call back to Peter Zircherās Dick in a suit and a trench coat look. and lbr 68% of Dickās civilian appeal is in the hair & cheekbones.

A lot of people think I would not like the 80s nightwing costume but this is FALSE. In fact, I LOVE discowing. And a lot of people do not know how versatile that discowing outfit was! So yes, there is indeed a variety of looks in the multitude of TIMELESS CLASSIC GEMS discowing granted us humble readers. My favorite is the above! Discowing in a leather jacket, slightly beat up, mourning his dead bf, kicking the dead bfās dadās ass, no-one-understands-me teary eyes, teen heart throb early 90s hair, pure ANGRY ANGST discowing look.Ā
least favorite discowing look:
justā¦. yeah lmao. what is there to say about the infamous deathwing. technically, deathwing is an AU Dick but itās still a discowing look that i love to loathe. look at those nipple ringsā¦ā¦Ā
I had to go with this piece of classic George Perez fanservice simply for the MATCHING hot pink speedo/booties combo hahaha oh Richard
and of course I could not choose just one so special shout out to Mikel Janinās shirtless upside Dick that greeted us in Grayson #1 Ā š

itās so difficult to find a BAD shirtless Dick look so I went with this weird ass shirtless pirate lookĀ with that terrible bandana, badly kept facial hair, lack of nipples (???), and (this is probably slander in many circles donāt @ me) but I am not a fan of hairy chested Dick :xĀ
favorite not-comics look:
if I were a non-biased person, I would have put YJ Robin here but alas, I am biased as hell and Batman: The Animated Series got me into comics and it got me in love with Dick Grayson SO therefore this is his best look in all of non-comics media according to me, mullet included hah.Ā
least favorite not-comics look:
I donāt think any other medium will ever top how bad this look was lmao. RUBBER NIPPLES.
favorite look ever probably if I had to choose:
The classic Brian Stelfreeze Nightwing design is the best look for Dick ever probably. That sleek black silhouette, the iconic blue streak, the finger stripes, the escrima sticks, itās all so TIMELESS and even better when you add some lush hair, flawless jawline, and a lil smile.Ā I am convinced no look will ever be better.

lol as bad as all of dickās fashion choices and outfits have been throughout the years, I am weirdly fond of them all in some way (even chris oādonnel hah) HOWEVER I cannot say the same for the few times that Dick has died or ādiedā or w/e. prayer circle that rumors of Dickās DCEU death are flat out wrong and that we have another live action #dicklook to look forward to šš½
