in these dark times, remember that you will feel sunlight on your skin once more. you will smell the heat and life of summer, you will feel grass underfoot. this will pass, you will love and live on.

day 5 of quarantine, I’ve run out of fabric and have had to resort to cross stitching this old strainer. Turned out pretty good I think! by Skittle_kittle
the plague: stay inside
everyone: i must bake Bread, immediately
Wtf should I wear to the living room today
i want to be someone else’s safety. even nonromantically. i want to be “hey can i tell you something?” i want to be - i tried something new and i’m a little scared but i wanted to show you. i want to be “i knew i could trust you”. i want to be okay to hold the hand of, always ready to listen, always trying. even if i don’t get it perfect, you know? i just want to be a place other people can relax and be themselves and not worry for a fraction of an instant.
A tip for everyone who’s currently quarantined like me: indulge in self care. Keep your hair clean and tidy, don’t stay in your pajamas all day, wear something extra comfy but make sure you feel good about yourself. The thing is, it’s easy to spiral into depression when you’re stuck at home and start neglecting yourself. Also indulge into your favorite comfort food recipes, and stretch your body every once in a while. Our body and mind need all the love right now!
me waiting for the next hyperfixation to consume me and give me renewed inspiration and purpose in life:
