To me, it feels like Alysa Liu winning the gold medal at the Winter Olympics was what this country needed-just some good news for a change. She quickly blew up for becoming the first American woman to win a medal in two decades and also with her very chill/cool attitude in life.
I saw artist's Gustavo Zermeño Jr's mural of her being done on his social medias ( https://www.tiktok.com/@gz.jr & https://www.instagram.com/gz.jr/ ) and just had to see it in person. When I got to the mural it wasn't 100% complete yet (on his social media it showed he finished it later that day after I took these photos) Still, it was amazing to see in person and totally worth the traffic to get there.
I love cool people that win gold medals and are for immigrants.
I love cool people that make art on the side of buildings.
I love taking photos of cool things.
