I know that this might not a typical love letter you will read, but as a person who loves love, I want to point out that loving is not the same as giving. Because in love, you do not wish something in return. However it will complete you.

Like the moon that lights up your night and the stars that make it enchanting, that's how you feel when you start to love. It will never be gone. It just waits its time to appear.

For every reason, it is worth the wait. For every reason, you are worth the wait.

New year, new me, new hope and new dream.

Apparently tumblr is not blocked anymore in Indonesia. So I can be free to express myself again. (Yeay).

As the year has passed and the day went by, I can still feel like everything around me is not a secret. There are a lot things that we know how it would end yet we still decided to torture ourselves with pressure. I know that we only want the best but you know what? I think the second best is not bad either. Or even not being the best at all is actually fine for me. As a dreamer and go-getter, I feel like this world is too small to try to prove anything to others. Because at the end of the day, we'll still have to deal with ourselves. (Not if you're married haha. In this case, life is much more complicated).

The point is, be true to yourself and enjoy everything while it lasts. (haha this motto comes again, right? I know ;)).

Like today, I feel a lot more relaxed than I did a couple of weeks ago. It so happens that we can work from home because the floods. As a person who loves to fooling around, I feel like this is a great opportunity to do everything I want. (With some strict responsibilities of course). So there they are, I did some housecleaning chores while doing my work. It's not so easy as I thought it would be but to my surprise I like it very much. Even now I'm dreaming to be a fulltime house-dad. With a modern twist of course haha. As a fulltime house-dad I will be able to do some errands but the thing is .. I need to find out what kind of job that would still be payed eventhough I do it from home. That is something I dream for this year and I believe it would be rewarding if I can do that. Any tips would me, guys. So feel free to share your thoughts. Haha

5 things that makes me laugh out loud

This should be easy because I tend to laugh at everything. But let's see if I can manage to think about it under 5 minutes. I started at 06:16 and should be ended at 06:21. Okay, here we go.. 1. Someone falls 2. People who speak to fast 3. Someone hits a wall or a door 4. Surprised (when someone hid behind the door to surprise you) 5. Ghost prank Well.. it turns out not to be easy for me. Even though I manage to write it down in five minutes but I found a difficulty to use the words in English. Guess I should have studied even harder and the most important things is that my list is a little bit sad. I tend to laugh at one's hard time. I need to change it before it's too late then.

Something that bothers me

Recently, I am thinking about the holiday on the end of this year. My office will be closed from December 24th 2017 until January 4th 2018, that is a very good deal, right? And of course I am excited, I want to go back to my hometown to see my family. I have already made some ideas that I want to do when I am in my hometown. But with that being said, I need to book a two ways airline tickets as soon as possible before the price is high.

I checked the tickets online and it is still in normal price (Thank God). But if I make a calculation about the total price that would be very expensive. Well, at least for me right now that is very expensive. I would spend this month salary if I take it. Yet I really want to see my family. What should I do? This is a dilemmatic problem that I never had before and this is really kicking my ass right now.

Was it a flower or a parasite?

I found this near my sister’s house back then when it was still half constructed. My eyes were caught by this strange yet beautiful flowers (Can I name it as a flower?) in a place where is not supposed to be growing. The environment was not very supporting, however she decides not to give up. I love how this not only shows you beauty but also sends a message of not giving up easily and to look up closely things around you. Way to go!

We are one. But different.

As you might know that I have moved to other city right now. It has been.. ump.. let me see.. ten days and it could not be any more better.

Even though my hometown and this city are in the same island but still the differences cannot be avoided. For example the language (duh!). We speak the same language, which is Bahasa Indonesia, but with our own dialect. I understand them (with no doubt) yet I feel some people might do not understand me clearly. I do not know, it is just my feeling because every time I talk they would ask me where I came from. I mean, is that really obvious? Well, yeah I admit when I first came to Jogja my friends would make fun of my way of speaking. But it was not because I speak with a strong dialect. In fact, It was only because I, apparently, say some words in my own way. Then I remember my lecture once said that we have our own way to talk that distinct us from other people. And it is regardless where we come or what language we speak. There is always a way to tell that it was us who is speaking. And that is called... F! I am trying to remember the name of since since the beginning of post but I cannot. Guess, I have not change a bit. Sorry, Sir, for wasting your time lecturing this kid (sad).

In either way, how come someone can be very sure to think that I am not from where they come from while we all speak, at any rate, differently?

Area in my life that I would like to improve

I never knew that leaving my family would be this hard. And among others, I felt the hardest when it comes to say goodbye to my mother. *** A little flashback: I got a job offer at an international non-profit organization which focuses on promoting the French language and culture in Medan. That is not very far actually, considering I have been going farther, but still the anxiety kicks in. I mean, why now? When I already feel comfortable in my own home and do not whish to leave any soon. Anyway, the strory begin two days ago when I finished packing my bags. *Fun fact: it was the hardest packing I ever did through my whole life. I was literally sitting on my laguage just to zipp it. Haha. (Focus) After spending so much time and energy on packing, I took a rest and chill out in the living room. That was when I felt overwhelmed. All of the negative thoughts were coming in and I just could not stand it anymore. I reached the nearest person besides me and it happened to be my mom. I hug her, she was surprised. (Of course) it is getting worse when she asked me what happened. I somehow lost my words and let my emotions to take the lead. I cried. A minute later all I know is I need to let it out and BOOM! I was sobbing in her embrace. This very morning when she was dropping me off at the airport, I hug her twice. If only I had no plane to catch, I didn’t intend to let her go. But again; c'est la vie! You need to chop.. chop.. chop. At any rate, It was a very strange reaction that I had. I said to her so many goodbye already but somehow this time I felt really melancholy. I am no master in controlling emotions but that was something else. I still cannot figure it out and I just hope for the best. All in all, guess I need to learn to master my emotions in the near future. The faster the better. … And that is the area I would like to improve.

Hence, I decided to put down this Hanoman picture in here. *** For those who don't know; Hanoman is one of the main characters in the Ramayana epic story. Quite surprising that I found this on Google when I typed a word ‘Friendship’.

I know that everything is not like what you want and you can’t change it. When we are talking about friendship, we need to see the beauty of it instead of the flaw in your friend. I completely realize that the one that I call friend is not perfect. But, that is the idea of it. Friend is supposed to make your life perfect by sharing each other imperfection. Hmm.. it is hard to understand, isn’t it? It should be, though, because there is nothing that needs to be understood in friendship. You let me be crazy and I let you be wild. As long as we can still be ourselves then it is a good friendship for me.

I could have uploaded any other animal’s photograph but I could not find anything better than this. It was in Temajuk, West Borneo, when I saw for the first time such an enormous Snake. I think it was a Python but I am not a hundred percent sure. I am not going to scare you or anything. Quite contrary though, I, myself, get scared when took this picture but (again) not everyday I get the chance to see a monstrous animal, that is why I share it.

A lesson I've learned the hard way

There are a lot of lessons in my life I'd like to share. But, I don't think those are interesting enough. Anyway, the thing I'd like to say in here is that everyone thinks that I am a wise person because I, almost, always have a solution for their problems. A little that they know, I am not a wise person, indeed. I came out with a lot of good idea because I have a ton of problems myself. That's the lesson I've learned through the hard way.
